The Sea Life London Aquarium is located on the South Bank of the River Thames, near the London Eye. The aquarium holds one of Europe's biggest collections of global marine life! Tickets can be purchased online for £29 per adult. Children under three are free and student discounts are available too.
The aquarium houses many stingrays which can be viewed up close when they come up to the glass! This huge underwater area contains a model whale skeleton and can be viewed through the see-through tunnel section. You will find a variety of sharks, including the sand tiger shark, nurse shark, and black tip reef shark.
The "Coral Kingdom" section contains the UK's largest living coral reef! As well as lots of information on coral habitats. The "Rainforest Adventure" area showcases creepy crawlies, crocodiles, and lots of tropical fish! Towards the end of your visit, you will find many species of jellyfish which are amazing to watch! Look out for moon jellyfish upside down jellyfish, Japanese Sea Nettles and Amakusa Jellyfish.
Find the Gentoo Penguins before you leave! They are the fastest species of penguin and are very playful! Many items can be purchased in the gift shop which helps the aquarium look after these wonderful animals.
