I had to add this...just like when Jesus was on the Mountain of Transfiguration, Peter, James and John saw him illuminated with the glory of GOD, not in the way they were use to seeing him. He briefly took on his heavenly appearance. When the Saints of God finally meet with Jesus, we will also have a glorified, illuminating body. Thank you, Lord.

I was so lost til about a month or two, and I never believed in Jesus much because all the lies of the common church, and even worse I was listening to the Rabbis. Some call it the book of law, the message of God, the word of God, the truth of God, the law of God, the book of scriptures, the Bible, the holy bible, the holy word, the book of truth and so on and so on. The truth of my matter is that my life has changed by reading and excepting the truth in all the words and teachings in what I call simply, “the Bible.” The arguments of who’s right and who’s wrong will forever be with us and quite frankly it’s those same arguments that keep a people or people in general from being all they can be. When the word God or Almighty is used there should be a quiet or calm followed by respect and a sense of power and strength. Did you not read the book and if you did I have to ask like I do to most, “who were you reading about and do you understand what the words are trying to do?” Everything about the story of, the messages of and the commandments of God are to make you a better person. There is definitely a lot of history to be discovered and it is obvious from the replies and strong remarks from some that the history surrounding our God be told and expressed correctly. I have to say it doesn’t matter where he or the message came from as much as it matters to me that The Almighty thought about us to leave such script to guide us through the difficult walks of life. I’m not disagreeing with anyone but I am saying the message of God is so much bigger than bickering and he say and she say rhetoric. The message of God if simply delivered is very powerful. It is truly an inspired word that is profitable for teaching! Even that phrase in the Bible has been taken out of context, right. I once asked a group of people if they knew there drivers license number, they all replied yes, then I asked them if they all knew there social security number and they all replied yes and then I asked them if they could all recite the Ten Commandments and all most all of them couldn’t. How can you do God’s will or conduct yourself in a Godly way if you don’t even know his commandments? The Bible or the words of God should be used to build us all up and strengthen the righteous while supporting those who can’t take care of themselves all while defending ourselves from those who choose to be wicked and promote wickedness.
May The Word change your life so that you can be a blessing to your family and others.

Genesis 1:26-27 says that God made humankind in his “image” and “likeness.” Both terms mean the same thing, and so this is usually referred to as “image of God” (imago dei).
Some understand image of God to mean those qualities that make us human, for example: possessing a soul, higher-order reasoning, self-consciousness, consciousness of God and the ability to have a relationship with him. This seems like a good definition, since only humans are in God’s image and these are qualities that make us human.
