When someone says for instance their title before their name like this " Hi this is Apostle Eric/Prophet Eric/Evangelist Eric/Pastor Eric or Preacher Eric" well then that is a BIG ALRET of no humbleness and bit of Pride. A true disciple of Jesus should say as Paul and every one who wrote letters being humble and say Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ" or "Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle" and John doesn't even call himself a apostle in his epistles. Because they are obeying Jesus and showing meekness and humility. Jesus said in Matt23:7-10 "But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

In order word you're testifying that he teaches nothing short of the Truth of God. If you fully subscribed to this, then you should focus less on trying to improve your giftings, rather concentrate on growing your relationship with God, this include every day understanding of the perfect will and mind of God. This is a life time requirements.
God is not looking for people with giftings and talents, believe me there are lots of them. Rather, - Jn 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
