I've heard stories of Rabbis and Cantors hiding in siderooms in churches during mass, in order to hear and learn the tunes used in the Christian prayers, and use them in synagogue for Jewish prayers.
Faith in God and forms of worship may differ, but music is a language we all speak.
I like how Jonah is the only one who bothered to wear pants to this recording and Henry and Ben just literally rolled out of bed and rocked up in singlet and shorts. Seriously though I've been looping this song nonstop so glad I can loop it on Spotify now.

Ahavat Olam (Hebrew: אהבת עולם, Eternal love) is a often chanted prayer and an expression to God for the gift of the Torah.
I’m Roman Catholic, but that doesn’t matter. We may have different practices, different beliefs, but we have one God. I searched the meaning of this song and it’s so beautiful, I urge you all to do the same. 🥺🥺🥺 this song brings healing and peace to my soul. Thank you. ❤️

I'm protestant in practice but once a year, I get to sing with my Jewish Brothers and Sisters and the music is some of the most beautiful I've ever had the pleasure of singing. It's all directly from the Old Testament and yes... same book, same God. Amen.

remember that Hebrew was the language of scholars and the scriptures in Jesus time (although Jesus's "everyday" spoken language would have been Aramaic. And it is Aramaic that most biblical scholars say he spoke in the Bible.:-)

YES!!! Thank you! I've been watching the original video constantly and have been hoping that a recording would be released. I'm not Jewish, but there is something about this arrangement that speaks to me. It is calming and brings a little peace to my heart each time I listen to it.
I'm a really big fan of Ben, but when I found out that you all sing together, I've been hooked ever since. And to know that you are all so spiritual together and stick together as family through your faith, this brings me so much joy. L’shana tovah guys! In this crazy world - I’ve come to hear you sing over and over again - to give me comfort, ease the rage, and to make me smile and sing along. Both versions are gorgeous, although I’m partial to the first -being so impromptu (at least you make it seem that way). Ben - I saw you in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway and from your first moment on stage, I knew you were special. Jonah - I’ve heard you several times and am consistently blown away by your voice and passion. Henry - I don’t know why, but you’re my favorite. Saw you with Ben singing To Make You Feel my Love and I fell in love with your voice. Also you’re the baby, and as a NY Jewish woman probably older than your Mom, can’t help loving the youngest. I wish you all well in your future careers and lives, and I hope it includes more singing and harmonizing for us (the world) to enjoy and savor. Thank you and thanks to your parents - whom I believe raised 5 great kids. No easy task there!
