- Al and the Polk Panthers return to the football pitch.
From Married With Children, Season 9 Episode 10, 'Dud Bowl'. After the funeral of a former football teammate at the Bullpen Sports Bar, an old rival, named Jack Franklin, challenges Al and his former team from Polk High into a grudge football match between them. But Al ends up being turned into a tackling dummy by ringers Bubba Smith, Laurence Taylor, Ken Stabler and John Reynolds on the opposing team.

I haven’t seen the ep in about 4 years, but I believe Jefferson was pretending to be a Polk team member who passed because they all had to have played for their teams in high school (even though the other team obviously had ringers lol) I would believe Jefferson lied to Marcy because it was a trend of the show, so her believing he was at home was okay imo. What caught me though was he wasn’t in disguise (except stuffing his uniform) when Marcy walked up with Peg & Kelly, she surly couldn’t of missed him standing a few metres away from her.
