About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

I love this episode. Marcy's laugh over the phone is classic.
More like gleeful cackling, lol... :D
I totally agree lol
YOU'RE RIGHT! 🤭
How many times does this make it that Marcy has laughed at Al like that?
Marcy has the dumbest laugh ever.
This is a medical malpractice lawsuit though, Bundy would be rich.
This is the type of show people wanted to come home to watch… From Work. From Church. From School. We just wanted to die laughing.
It was on Sunday night so most people weren't at school or work and were already home.
The show ran in 80s and 90s. What idiot went to church 300 years after enlightment?
Oh, I’m sorry for being so naive in the thought that every single person that goes to church is a die hard saint.
Rich Viola, Rick Locket : You totally missed the point of the comment. Of course!
@@RichV20 Reruns played every night on some channels
Marcy's laugh is priceless.
That part still cracks me up
That made her day.
I can't help but both laugh and feel sorry for Al
That's an interesting combo. 😂
Isn't that how it usually goes?
I know right? Poor Al...
Sadly enough this would of been Al's chance at being rich off medical malpractice! Lol
Then peg would’ve spent it all in about a week
@@adamtajyar you are correct there sir! Lol. He wouldnt of seen a cent
He couldn't win a lawsuit, that's the joke.
Bundy's are losers, not quitters.
Bundy's are losers, not quitters.
My favorite sitcom of all time !
Al is my hero
I love this episode. When Al cries, he sounds just like Trump after the election 🤣
Mine too Colin and i have a friend that says he hates this show and that makes me wonder about him where most women hate this show too hahahhaha
Love the ridiculous premise. Ill never forget that moment when the doctor breaks the news.
Marcy leaning on Al's head at 1:34 and his pathetic scream. Hilarious.
Ikr?! 🤣
2:02
It looks in the beginning of the episode of a little of the top when these men tried to get the guy wearing a 33 Polk high football jersey on the furniture it looks someone smashed the bottle over his head cause his head to bleed his skull to be crushed and for his brain to be crushed open like ripping his skull open and his brain to also ripped open like he cracked his head and his skill both open causing the blood to be shown
And there was blood dripping all over his head
And more blood to be seen
(from later on in the episode) "-And for a brief moment, in a land far away: there was Abraham, Moses and Al, saying 'if it wasn't for the wife..." LMAO
I had to think about the details of each of those characters and what each of their wives said/did to figure out that joke and then it hit me. Oh, that is comedy gold. Bravo Sir, Bravo!
@@NateChillinShow Care to explain??

The late great Buck on the stairs!
Oh my god, this was such a funny episode! Esp watching Al deal with the aftermath of this medical mistake.
'What was that noise Al?'
'A stitch Peg.'
I had to get mine done at age 20. I watched this episode at age 10 so I knew what I was in for.
The person who wrote this was one of the show's creators.
4:48 This Reminds Me Of The Moment On South Park When Cartman Started Crying Because Kyle Slapped Him In The Face!
Marcy puches Al's head down & I LOVE Al's noise from his back pain.
It's HILARIOUS !!! Poor Al. 😂😂😂
poor al, even the doctors are against him :(
I know how he feels.
The doctor's are not against him. It's the Bundy curse that plagues Al.
@@yogidemis8513 ahh yes, the dreaded bundy curse... when will it end :) :) poor al :(
@@yogidemis8513 Peg is the curse to Al.
To be fair, Al was against doctors
every time I see this episode I can't stop laughing Marcy and Al are hilarious together the insults are just perfect two bad they can't stand each other off screen
they can't stand each other even on screen
@@arianitonline8748 I know you imagine if they were actually married instead of Peggy and Al
@@agostinosperanza2546 in screen, do you ever see Al and marcy go along? no
@@arianitonline8748 Once when Steve didn't look for work. One of my favorite episodes just because it's so surreal
they cant stand each other off screen? thats exactly why the insults flow so naturally and tidy whities were getting ruined by thousands
Who is the father the ultimate insult hahaha 😝
I choked on my soda. I had it coming out my nose.
I'm fairly certain Al could sue the crap out of that Hospital; and I'm shocked he didn't.
Even if he did and won, you know that money was already gonna be spent by Peggy.
Due to previous episodes, it's pretty clear no judge would ever believe anything Al claims again, no matter the evidence.
Cracked me up whenever Al screamed like a girl 😄
I love it when Marcy says "hey stubby!" Ha ha ha ha
Peggy's "are you kidding me" look at 4:20 was unprecedented... this episode got it all, that makes marvellous non-PC well-timed comedy!
Yes that look was totally priceless? lol
But Al was circumcised 20 years ago, Doc.
Congratulations, who's the father' 💀☠️
This is TOO MUCH, even for Al! 😥
4:46 Now that's a legendary classic Bundy comedy! 😹👍
Its a travesty not to have the other clips that show Al in the yellow mumu, and when he's fully healed. Him punching out Jefferson is hilarious.
"Just a small word of warning. Anyone who says What's Up, goes down. It wasn't funny when the doctor asked it. It wasn't funny when the nurse asked it. And it certainly wasn't funny when your mother asked it"
@@lucky889s9 , My favorite moment in the whole episode is when you see Al and he's been excited by Peg. You hear a popping sound, and Peg says "What was that sound?", and Al says "A stitch"....
I laugh every time.
And that is why hospitals make you sign waivers before your operations.
That wouldn't protect from blatant negligence or incompetence. This is a case where the hospital would settle quickly and quietly. Surgical hospitals rely on their reputation, and if you get the reputation for wrong site surgeries, it's bad for business. Funny episode though.
THUMBNAIL ALEX👍🌞
Don't remember much of my early years now at 58. But I can definitely remember the week I spent wearing pajama bottoms at age 7 as a new immigrant from Europe to America. I felt poor Al's pain LOL.
They really did that? You shouldn't have moved to New York.
My brother in law in china had his done at 18...
@@cchavezjr7heard the older u get the more it hurts and it dangerous later in life to get it.
This and the episode where Al and Jefferson are putting together a work bench is two of the best episodes.
I love the one, where Al, Jefferson, and all of the members of No MA'AM are up on Al's roof, trying to install a new Satellite Dish. I think that everybody just basically takes turns falling off of the roof!
One of his most funniest 🤣 episodes
I don't know if it's my age or this stuff is really timeless!
No, it's timeless. But what makes it better now compared to back then, this stuff said and done makes people melt down now a days. Shoot, lot of this stuff you can't say or do in public anymore lol.
One of the best episodes ever.
With all the Shoe Salesman jokes in this show, I know one job teenagers were avoiding back then.
And I know one show that shoe salesmen hated.
The show was so ahead of its time.
I can't sufficiently use the right words to describe how funny it was and how hard i laughed at 4:50 when I saw it for the first time. Tears were running down my face!
it's 2021 and we're still here for it!
Al: Just a small word of warning. Anyone who says What's Up, goes down. It wasn't funny when the doctor asked it. It wasn't funny when the nurse asked it. And it certainly wasn't funny when your mother asked it.
Peg: but then again I've been asking for years.
Man oh man 🤣 how I missed watching the Al Bundy and the whole gang from Married with children, OMG that show was hilarious and funny as hell, I wished the same actor's and actress's would make a 2022 reunion two hour special, the rating's would be off the charts.
Comedy like that does not exist anymore. Reality shows have ruin sitcom opportunities. I hate reality shows . Its shear crap.

You forgot to mention political correctness.
@@darknotered7425 yeah, they are ruining good TV shows.
I love that squeal he belts out when Marcy and Peg fkd with him. 🤣🤣🤣
Al’s the man!!!!
Such a great show!!
Such a great episode. So many great lines in it!
The worst part to this medical tragedy was that he was already circumcised when he went in. 🤕
Doctor: That's the other thing.
…and Marcy laughed again
@@stephenfiore9960 I'm currently binging the whole series. Some of my hardest laughs are when Marcy or Jefferson laugh at Al and/or Peggy. I thought I'd split a gut when the chimps impersonated Bundys, or when the D'Arcys did it.
No he wasn’t they never mentioned that prior to this.
@@adamtajyar Humor is a foreign concept to you, isn't it?
I just got circumcized 3 hours ago...I feel your pain Al!! 😭😭😭
Are you better now? A year later.
Still funny after all these years, actually hilarious !
Al won’t be a shoe salesman anymore….he’s gonna own the chain!!!!!😃😃😃
Most people aren't going to get that joke.
Please keep em' coming! Thank you!
Just when I think that I have plumbed the depths of Ed O'Neil's brilliance, he emits that impossible scream/shriek/cry, and I realize that there is no end to his greatness.
😂🤣😂 Poor Al.
I remember this episode, one of my all time favorites, but aren't they all.
Wish we saw more of Aaron, could've been a member of No Ma'am.
Hill Harper 😍
Yup! Aaron was a good character.
Yes Aaron should have been used more hes underated
The problem with Aaron was that he was from a different generation, and the writers found it difficult to write jokes that could "sync" with Al.
I liked him too but he was too young/ inexperienced to be No Ma'am
Heyy. Peg can play the insult field just as good as Al can. Hilarious...
"Just a small word of warning: Anyone who says 'what's up' goes down. Wasn't funny when the doctor asked it, wasn't funny when the nurse asked it, and certainly wasn't funny when your mother asked it".

HAHAHAHAHA. They sure dont make shows like this anymore.
Poor AL him crying in the nursery was pricless though 😂🤣
Suprise that Al did not sue the hospital for what happend to him.
That to me is this episode’s major flaw. Knowing Al, this would have been the only time one of his get-rich-quick schemes would have worked but I still thought it was funny lol

They would never let a show like this today.
why is why public tv ratings have plummeted to super low levels. nothing on public tv anymore. even family guy has been tamed down too much to the point where its unwatchable.
It's always Sunny in Philadelphia is also pretty damn good and unapologetic

My dream is that they do Married....with Grandchildren. Would it shock anyone if Bud and Kelly still lived at home with their bratty kids and whatever last call rejects they knock up/get knocked up by and Al, instead of enjoying his retirement, has to take care of them all?

Poor Al. He’ll never be the same !
Doctors really screwed up on this one !
Geest show. I still watch the reruns 😁🤣
It's the geest. 👍
LOL! Bundo the fiddler crab boy.
In real life he could've sued the arse off that hospital!!! These days anyway...🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
It would've never happened because even if Al won, Peg and the kids would've still screwed him over. They would've gone on a shopping spree with that money and left him with nothing.
That is unless Al finally took control of his life by keeping the money for himself, quitting his drudgery as a shoe salesman at Gary's Shoe Store, faking his death to escape his miserable family, changed his name to Jay Pritchett and get a plane ticket to Los Angeles to start a new life in a much happier circumstance where no one knows who he is.
Maybe, but I doubt if the compensation payment would be enough to cover the bill for the surgery.
This is hilarious 😂
Peggy: "Will he ever be able to work again?"
Doctor : "He's a shoe salesman, Mrs. Bundy. We could replace his brain with a sock full of popcorn, he would still be able to work again"

The best sitcom! Will there ever be a rerun? Highly doubt in today's cancel culture. People are taught to be over sensitive instead of a good laugh.
