I got in the $100 prayer line and all I can say is that I know from experience you'd be better off fasting, praying, and reading the bible to get your break through. Trying to pay for it, ain't gonna get it. it's one thing to pay tithes and offering. but the monetary prayer / miracle line is not effective. you got to go to God for yourself.

It’s crazy people STILL falling for this. My first church our pastor would always do this. He would literally stop and wouldn’t continue until a certain amount of people lined up to give $100, $500 or better. My dad eventually left the church and never returned because of it.

It doesn’t need to get to study even when you read the Bible you will know what God says in his word. Just reading it you will learn what God thinks and wants for you, not everyone has the translations available to enable studying. People must stop relying on other people teaching them about God, if we read we will learn that we can’t manipulate God to give us things, people must learn to rely on the Holy Spirit to reveal what God says.

I used to go to a church where you could get "a prophecy" if you gave $50. Then the pastor held up the service to ask for a specific amount to cover the expenses for having TD Jakes present. After TD Jakes preached, he held up the church again and he used to same tactics Juanita used. I think he asked for 50 people to give $1000 dollars. It felt like a stick up, like we were getting robbed and were not allowed to leave until the man got his money

"On your credit card" is one of Bynum's red flags. What kind of God would want His people to go deeper into debt for His "blessing"? I used to listen to her in my 20s during deployments because I was so hungry for God,, but my goodness, I've outgrown this type of teaching and manipulation for sure.
I spent 3 years in a church where another woman preacher (We never saw her husband), always said MORE MONEY you give MORE BLESSINGS you get; meanwhile the church was full of Fornicators, Crooks, Angry and Miserable people. When I took the microphone 🎤 to talk about Holiness… the woman became furious at me, so I quit the church! 😥
This is very sad. I hope someone in her congregation finally opens their eyes and recognize she is deceitful. Maybe they will be bold enough to leave her church and lead others right out of the front, back or side door.

If you want to give, then give, but dont feel forced to because God would rather have someone that gives cheerfully than otherwise. If you dont have it, then dont get in the line. It's simple. We give people too much power. Do what the holy spirit instructs you to do.

Church buildings still have expenses and bills and yes some pastors and their staff/administration get paid who do full time ministry. I'm just speaking in general. I'm not saying her asking and trying to force people is right. I'm saying even if she asked, the people can decide for themselves. They should not give power to her or any pastor in regards to what they give for offerings or tithes.

I used to go to a church where you could get "a prophecy" if you gave $50. Ince they got all the $50 people, it went down to $40, then they kept going until they ended with, "Bring what ever you have." Notice I said I USED TO go there. I found a MUCH BETTER place where the true word is preached and there are no "prophets for profit."

Elijah asked the woman who was about to make her and her son their last meal and die to make him a meal. In obedience she made the sacrifice and was blessed afterwards. That's the only biblical example I can think of when someone had to sacrifice then was blessed tremendously. I don't believe Juanita Bynum is operating according to the will of God though.

I was first made aware of Juanita Bynum in the late 90's when she did "No More Sheets." It blessed me at that time in my fornicative singlehood. What she puts out has been all downhill from there IMO.

They would make you believe God could only be found in that particular church and make you sew seeds into that church specifically so God could bless you with your breakthrough and that 6 months wouldn’t pass without your life transforming.
Many of these celebrity pastors do it. They always want you to sow a seed to get a blessing. They have no shame in “selling you a blessing”. They all use the same shaming tactics. Years ago, I remember being excited to see TD Jakes preach at a church. He and the pastor who was hosting him did a shakedown of the congregation to get as much money as they could. 3 offerings were taken up. After they had everyone feeling good with the praise and worship, first they asked for the regular tithes and offerings. Then the pastor held up the service to ask for a specific amount to cover the expenses for having TD Jakes present. After TD Jakes preached, he held up the church again and he used to same tactics Juanita used. I think he asked for 50 people to give $1000 dollars. It felt like a stick up, like we were getting robbed and were not allowed to leave until the man got his money

Its like this in ALOT of churches.Telling ppl they wont be blessed if they dont give.Some of them leave, eat good in the neighborhood but the next week the ppl who gave cant even buy meat.
