    We use the Fusebox spacer instead of timber now. Only £20 and worth every penny

    The malleable boxes are great...20 mm. Round knockouts tie in round conduit ...the rectangle knockout matches up to surface trunking .AND. their drill,able 😅

    How are you going to seal the big holes you just put in the back of the fuse board I always Mount mine on fireboard and always use top entry

    So why does every one have a problem with top entry, you are having to put cu on bits of wood, my sparks wanted to do rear entry, even though top was easier. Why

    Out of curiosity as you've gone over 3m on your tails from going up and over and not surface mounted in the garage, switch fuse or time delay rcd in the meter cab? Lovely install as usual though.

    I now don't mount sockets directly underneath consumer unit because a lot of portable equipment is low voltage & the transformer plugs are big & bulky & cannot be physically plugged in, so l leave a gap between the consumer unit & the socket or mount it along side it.

    ok, sorry, but why do you need a banding strap for fire, its vertical, i don't think you need it for that short run.
