Can passport be used as a birth proof in place of Birth certificate for ita or is birth certificate mandatory.

Passport and birth certificate are two different things. passport will not be used as birth proof. Birth certificate is mandatory. If you don't have birth certificate then another option to get NABC- Non Availability Birth Certificate from local registrar office and even you don't have NABC then you need to provide the Affidavit of birth details attested by competent gazette officer like notary, divisional magistrate, home department etc- But In all cases, you need to provide you birth details that's why Birth certificate is required to submit. In some cases, educational certificate also works but it depends on the authority to take a final call- thanks

You can approach with them either of, but it should be same as you received in email confirmation or application no after successful submission

Translated first and an electronic copy of the original second. it is applicable only in case of translation

@@HarpreetSingh-jp8zq If there is single applicant then you should go with single affidavit for all your personal documents, but for multiple applicant each document is supposed to be accompanied by an affidavit. It may also valid document type and uploading section- Since all electronic copy require, you can attached same affidavit in each document if needed to upload separately as per application column
