I was a student in London back then. If I couldn't get home to watch United, I'd go to Stamford Bridge where a mate of mine worked on match days.

Mick Mills was a brilliant player, for some reason, I always picture him playing at Hampden for England v Scotland, when I think back on 1970s Auld Enemy encounters, Mick Mills comes to mind, a terrific player

I remember this game. In the Shed and we were calling the ref all kinds of Ernie Hunts and B’ Astards!! Walking home (3 mins away) muttering all kinds of curses to myself. So, to answer the question, been going to every home game bar 4 since 1967 and away since 1972 ’an I'm still going.
Win or lose up the Blues.

Be carful the big companies like to have stuff like this taking down because it reminds them of an era when they were actually television makers and not canned camera the better part of 24/7

No doubt Fat Sam enjoyed a pre match pint of wine down the Kings Road. Can't see why the Linesman can't be goal judge and look for the keeper coming of his line, Brain certainly has a been in his bonnet about this.
