Love football nostalgia, love to see full Big Match and Match if the Day episodes, wish the ITV and/or the BBC would launch their own you tube channels and show them, THERE IS DEFINITELY A INTEREST IN FOOTBALL NOSTALGIA 🤞🏻🙏🏻

I was there. West Lower. Great atmosphere and my favourite Chelsea team of all time. I started walking across the road from the flats to the Bridge in 1967, and I'm still going to every home game, even if it does cost me the same price as an E Type Jag 😁
I remember this game. In the Shed and we were calling the ref all kinds of Ernie Hunts and B’ Astards!! Walking home (3 mins away) muttering all kinds of curses to myself. So, to answer the question, been going to every home game bar 4 since 1967 and away since 1972 ’an I'm still going. Win or lose up the Blues.
When you look at Forest's kit it looks so more 'modern' compared to Ipswich Town here or Middlesborough's because the v-neck collar is narrower and not so deep but close near the neck.
Spurs Chelsea 1975. I was at that game. I was 14. Riots! On the pitch battles. Policemen’s getting kicked in the head. Chelsea we relegated. Spurs survived by a point.
Heath's goal. 👏👏👏
Watched this on Granada soccer night proper blizzard
As a non-WBA fan (and a kid at the time) West Bromwich Albion led the way and with players like Bryan Robson,Gary Owen and Peter Barnes it was a pity it all broke up when Ron Atkinson went to Manchester United.
Proper football
Was at the game a few weeks before my 20th birthday. Can still see Don Rogers streaking away to score.
these young fans on Chelsea tv should watch this and realise how far We have come in my lifetime 20000 real fans in the bridge
The GREATEST TEAM OF THE 80'S..!! 💙💙💙 Never forgive the Redshite for stopping us winning the European Cup
Agree, too bad we missed that big chance 🟦⬜
Fantastic Memories I was in my teens and its when I 1st started going to the games..!! Never forgive the Redshite for getting us banned and stopping us winning the European Cup 💙💙💙 UTFT AND COYB
Dave, Many thanks for supplying this excellent game from Selhurst Park on your wonderful channel. Good commentary as always from Barry Davies!
They both look like Sunday League outfits.
For those of us there, it must go down as a all time favourite, we didn't expect that, but forest were brilliant, being from the same town as Tony woodcock, made it even better
The red Chelsea
Hutch's second goal was a masterpiece - beautiful.
Good old fashioned British football.Unlike today's sanitised variation.
I was there raining soaked hitch hiked to Manchester ended up on strefford end with police protection They saved us getting hurt The police escorted us to the paddock
In those days football stadiums were like warehouses crammed in with fans.
United just couldn't get it together that season, saw them at Arsenal (first game of season) and Wimbledon away (Vinny Jones scored only goal) and they played well just couldn't score.
Season Millwall got it bad in the Street end?
wheres fa cup final? mufc okok xxxxx
Absolute master class ❤
Great to watch, as is Kendall, Royal & Harvey. Any more Everton Time of Our Lives or Wolves?
Finally watched last 20mins Great Stuff And Loads on CZcams which is why
Final not on this video as not played till the next season, as Everton could not fit it in to their fixtures. Kendal said to the players this competition was a waste of time.
I remember watching this MOTD… the days when Starsky & Hutch were on TV at 9.
Was there, looking forward to watching whole game TV coverage
Rubbish standard of football.
I am an evertonian and saw everton all through the 70s,it would of been embarrassing to win the league with those players how the hell they managed to be up there was baffling?dai davies was beyond shite ,dobson was about the only decent player we had as for the rest all 5/6 out of 10 type of players.
I'm a Liverpool fan but Peter Reid seems like such a good man. Like an old fashioned big brother who is just 100% pure hearted to a fault.
he's also a Madridista :-)
So good to hear Old Trafford applaud that Famous team off the pitch ! They witnessed a masterclass! 8-1 was witnessed by me ! That day utd was on fire ! Swings
Under used maybe for England ?
To play football like that on a pitch like that was testimony to those players Clough & Taylor assembled and coached.
Pitch was fine for December & that was normal. Now pitches are sterile, has no impact on the game & players back then would give you an exciting game. Now it's just a video game. Hate today's ball as well.
Gordon lee was a goalkeeper from being Everton’s greatest manager he made the perfect team and it was criminal that they didn’t win a bunch of titles all because John moores would not pay £ 100,000 for Peter shilton . Jimmy poss I 🙍🏻♂️
My favourite everton team 69/70 an all British team to boot brilliant, 80s winning side all British too.happy days.
Still sick to this day that United spawnied that final and stopped our deserved treble.
Oh how I wish for another holy trinity in the 21st century (Harvey Kendall and Ball) up the toffee's

Forest played United four times this season ( 22/23 ), our first back in the Premiership. There were two games in the League Cup ( Carabao Cup ) and two in the Premiership. The TV companies showing the games felt the need to constantly play the 1-8 loss in our last Premier League season, because they don't seem to think football existed before the Premier League. It was a humiliating defeat, but it was a team which was on its way down. It was the proverbial kicking when you're down. This game is obviously much better for Forest fans because we won, but also it is a better game objectively because United were supposed to be a decent team. They had won the F.A.Cup the previous season. So, team with millions and millions of pounds who have the reputation and money to attract the world's best players go to the ground of a team who've had financial difficulties and are rapidly on their way down and thrash them vs team who have only just got promoted go to one of the league's richest clubs who are current F.A.Cup holders and give them a drubbing. Which of these is a more interesting story? I'd go with the latter every time.
Still the best Everton side of all time come on Everton 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
What a great game come on Everton 💙💙
No dutch came to England then
This is the end of Gordon lee
What was the score
The beautiful game ! But not any more, its all been bought by foreign oil rich countries, and the money has ruined it.
