    I don't think you realize that nudity wasn't seeing the same way as it was nowadays back then. Nudity actually used to be seen as a sign of purity especially in children. Plus he had her parents consent. So pictures like that weren't unnormal. Not to mention it was actually rumored that he was trying to get with her mother. Which is why he wasn't allowed to see anyone in the family.

    Lewis Carroll was actually pretty tame for the Victorians in terms of child nudity, back then it was not a faux pas to photograph children in that manner but rather a depiction of the innocence of childhood

    Miss- I hate to break it to you, but I don’t think you did your research. Taking photography of n-de children was very common in the Victorian Era. Parents also gave consent and so did the child. On top of that, it was common for parents to send holiday cards with their n-de children in them. It signified purity. It isn’t how you think it is.

    Nude back then was actually ment to be pure, not like it is now, but asking an 11 year old to marry him is concerning, though he's not the only one who did that, from what I read or heard before, in Romeo and Juliet, Romeo is 17-21 years old, and Juliet is at least 12-13 years old, and at school(forgot the people) a at least 30 year old man married a 16-20 year old, and many other people have done this.

If he was alive today I don’t think he would had made them do inappropriate photos.

  • @Unusual_Break
    @Unusual_Break Před 11 měsíci +5

    Times were much different back then, many children were photographed like that so you have to keep that in mind. Its actually more likely that he was into her older sister who was of age but still very young by todays standards. There is evidence to support this. Caroll was not of the social class her mother approved and her virtue couldnt dare be questioned. There are letters supporting this and they created the narrative about him being too affectionate toward Alice to throw off the scent of the older sister. Because she was of age (still incredibly young) it would have been very scandalous and tarnish the Little family name. Ive researched this extensively and there is a yt video about this as well. He also took a full frontal nude photograph of the older sister as a pubescent teen. Which, goes beyond the nude children thing. Small nude children were seen as more like cherubs but a clearly developing teen is very different. This is what myself and many others believe. It was also known he played a "kissing" game with girls the older sisters age. Like many, witty and spunky small children, he did love Alice much in the same way a lot of adults like being around small children like that. Stubborn and funny, spunky little kids.

    Also in sleeping beauty, idk if you heard of this but she is “alseep” she is really in a coma….. somewhere in the woods, and the prince, not even the prince, some random guy, r@pes her and gets her pregnant. So she woke from her coma giving birth to the child……. 👺👺 if I’m wrong then please tell me. Or don’t.

    That was that time the girls had nothing but kind things to say about Uncle Louis. Nowadays it Is absolutely seen as gross. But back then, that was just how It was and he never did anything Physically inappropriate or sexual with them.

    People love to spread negativity. I mean no one in their right mind would condone child molestation or harm in any fashion but I just see so many of these type of videos ruining childhood memories and exchanging them for nightmares. It just makes you think like.. this person had a choice to talk about some positive and spread that message or talk about something negative to get a shock factor out of people and more views. I could just keep scrolling and I’m sorry if there are people out there that love to bask in awful thoughts or just have that whole woke negative vibe. Y’all can do you, I just felt like something needed to be said. Alice in wonderland is a childhood classic and favorite of mine and now it’s tarnished.. all I can see is Alice as a victim now. Thanks Debbie Downer. Mission accomplished
