Thank you for exposing the criminal behavior of these Buckhead/Atlanta LE officers. The US Constitution and Bill of Rights should never be willingly surrendered to those that deliberately choose to ignore established law.
The security manager is as dumb as the pigs, why is it so hard for them to learn and know from public property we the people as the unalienable right to record anything the eyes can see and 18 US CODE 242 states 4th trespass of rights is punishable by death for being traitor to the constitution. The Atlanta pig needs to know that public sidewalk is public sidewalk even if it’s on private property, it’s an easement and all easement are public property because before easement becomes a easement when the private owner agree that it’s or otherwise no utilities will never be put put in.

For example, you probably thought you needed permission to film, or that refusing to answer police questions required you already have a lawyer. A famous one is the right to buy arms. Most people think they need permission for that. They don't.
Most people know their rights, they just don't know that they are rights. Like in this video, those guys know it's okay to film, but it requires permission. Same thing at traffic stops, most people know they don't have to talk to the cops without a lawyer, but they think that they need the lawyer there to have permission to not talk.
You have the right to start a church, any church, but you think you need permission first. You don't, you can start the church of rock worship tomorrow without any permission slip.
Does that make more sense? People know what their rights are, but they think the rights require permission from some authority in order for them to be valid.
Another example. I walk out to my truck with a shotgun , a neighbor calls the popo and says I just saw guy get in his truck with a gun. Most people think that I need permission to have that shotgun. I don't, not in America anyway.
You knew your rights, you just didn't know they were rights, you thought they were conditional based upon the authorities' approval.
That's what I mean. People know about their rights, they just are taught that those rights are privileges.
So again, they know their rights, but they confuse them with granted privileges. I hope that cleared it up.

Hats off to officer Bradshaw for a job well done! Gilley's behavior, however, was absolutely despicable. A cop that won't identify when on duty is a danger to the community, a liability to the department, and should be relieved of duty or at least transferred to a desk where he won't interact with the public. Thanks for standing your ground, Jason. You are well within your rights to get upset with him but I don't think it is beneficial to the cause. That said, I fully realize I'm not the one out there sticking my neck out so you do what you feel like you have to do. I appreciate your efforts.

I called the security office to see what they say about filing and they still say the policy is no filming of the store fronts. They did agree that it is a policy, not a law and you are on public but if you refuse to stop filming they would call the police and let them handle it.

I lived in Atlanta , well Chamblee, actually, for a little over a year, and I f'n hated it there, especially when I had to go into the inner most areas of the city. I moved my butt back to Virginia as soon as I was able to. GOOD RIDDANCE ! No kidding, I met some of the rudest people I've ever come across, and the crime was rampant, this was in 1998, so I don't know if, or how different it might be now, but judging by the video, not much has changed.

Private security guards deny rights and even assault the public all the time in our public buildings. They are rarely held accountable. The public audits also exposed that the majority of municipal police are lawless glorified bouncers beholden to mayor's and city councils. They arrest people for policies made by the local gov with authority only over their employees. They make that their law and the only recourse allowed by the gov is to fund the legal system for their unlawful arrest. It's a crisis situation. It's rampant across the country.
