Hey guys, thanks for all your amazing comments - just wanted to address the sound criticism... I know the music is too loud, but I do appreciate constantly being reminded 😂 This was one of my earliest videos and I had no idea how to remove background music (I still find this hard) so apologies if you can't hear all of what's being said. The Ragnarok Hulk is cool and all, but the Bruce from Avengers 1 and 2 was absolutely phenomenal. You could tell Whedon took Bruce seriously. He was mysterious, tragic, and insanely intelligent. Lines like “You can’t kill me. I know, I tried” and “I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade” were some of the most tragic and badass lines of the entire MCU. And the fact that the Hulk was genuinely terrifying, almost killing his fellow Avengers several times. And I know some people didn’t like it, but I was really feeling the romance between him and Natasha.

The Hulk became Professor Hulk. That was basically Marvel saying, that Bruce Banner finally reconciled the 2 personalities. That takes more than just smashing things (although people like to see that)

I have to say, this video made me realise how disappointed I was with where the MCU took the Hulk/Banner arc after Ultron. Kinda wish Bruce and Nat had gotten their happy ending. R.I.P.

J. R. 6 there was a scene that was supposed to be in Endgame after Hulk snapped his fingers and brought everyone back. It was Hulk and Nat finally resolving all of their problems together. It eventually got rewritten as a fight between Bruce and Hulk, and then both ideas were scrapped and we never got a conclusion to those stories, and we probably never will.
Bruce Banner is one of the best yet underrated characters in the MCU. Brilliant video.

The secret is learning how to control the anger so if Bruce Banner is ever in a stressful situation, he can control Hulk if he needs to.

I honestly love Hulk and Bruce, they’re my favourite avenger. I kind of hated what they did with them in Endgame. It has awful implications for people who live with Dissociative Identity Disorder, like myself, that “becoming one again” is the only solution. I would’ve loved a scene of Hulk and Bruce properly communicating and coming to understand one another so they could learn to co-operate. I actually liked their dynamic in Thor: Ragnarok and Infinity War way better, even if they were dysfunctional and awful to each other it felt GENUINE.

Same. At least for the implications of that until She-Hulk showed that it's not entirely the end of that conflict.

I really wished they did something like had the two of them, Banner and Hulk, achieve a balance, so that they were at peace with another and could change at will. What they did feels like a huge disrespect to the character.
I've actually noticed the similarities with Banner and a dissociative disorder. I have a dissociative disorder as well, and I really relate to the character. What they did kind of obliterated that connection I felt. It's like he died for real in infinity war.
On a side note, I really love the 1978 show as it really respects the character and shows the struggle he goes through. If you can get past the dated effects, it's actually a surprisingly deep and good show.

I’m glad nobody is bashing Hulk in the comments of this. All I’ve been reading on other videos is how weak Hulk is and it gets boring. All people want is a mean killing machine from Hulk and forget that it’s still Banner and that Hulk still has a personality. Great job at showing it.

The comics ruined Bruce Banner for awhile as well but they quickly learned that taking away crazy dumb hulk from Banner makes him boring . In the comics banner finds a way to separate himself from the hulk becoming a normal human and effectively ruining him as an interesting character.

My personal opinion is that sadly it is Mark who killed the Hulk...He spoiled the ending of infinity war and Endgame...he is seen as a liability now and was being phased out with Endgame as a consequence.

Beautiful music it really puts us on Banner's shoes of all the heartache he's had to go through when he became something that he didn't want.
He's fierce, he's strong, he's invincible, incredible and abominable as Hulk yet calm, soft, morally intact and intelligent as Banner.

Mark Ruffalo is such a talented actor, he voices Hulk, he wore a mocap suit to make a Hulk movement, and he's also a perfect Bruce Banner

It is all so perfectly conceptualized, and wonderfully executed. As an addendum: I personally very much appreciated the parallels you brought between Banner's interpersonal relationships with other characters, to his own growth as a character. You simply don't see that in these character edits very often; especially for what could be described as the "lesser Avengers" i.e. Romanoff, Banner, and Barton. Yet again, a 'marvelous'(pun intended?) video edit, and as a new subscriber, I eagerly await all future efforts of yours. Have a good day, because after this.. you deserve it.

Legally they can't, though. Hulk's Interlectual Property rights has never returned to Marvel since they sold him off to Paramount back in the day, when Marvel almost went bankrupt.
Paramount agreed to lease Hulk to Marvel, on condition that he must always be part of a team and never in a solo movie, unless it's Paramount producing it (which they have no intention of doing, after 2 terrible installments of the character back in 2003 and 2008).
I remember watching the hulk back in the 70s. We still had a B&W tv.
I will just say it; Bruce Banner/Hulk is the most underrated character in all of the MCU, and the strongest Avenger. He is caring, and just wants to help people. But, he is always either stuck being used or treated like a monster. He is also always mistreated by the fandom, always calling him “useless” and saying that “he is only good bc of the Hulk”. He deserves more than this. I don’t understand why people can’t see that when he isn’t fighting monsters, he is using his genius mind to help to the best of his abilities. And, if anyone ever listened to him, a lot more problems would have been fixed. The entire story of “Age of Ultron” wouldn’t have happened if Tony had just listened to Bruce. He is such a sweet character who has the brains and the brawn. He deserves better ❤❤❤

Mark ruffalo’s depiction of Bruce banner is possibly the best character wise in the mcu.

Thor is definitely stronger than him. Hulk in the mcu isn’t really that strong. Even Ironman was able to beat a full raged hulk in avengers 2. And Thor was about to beat him WITHOUT his hammer in Thor 3 if The Grand Master didn’t interrupt their fight.

It was extremely obvious that Thor had the upper hand in that fight, that's why The Grand Master interrupted, because he thought Hulk was losing. Plus, let's remember that at that point, Thor had no hammer at all. Thor's hammer isn't the source of his power, but it helps him focus his energy which gives him a clear advantage. So Stormbreaker Thor would easily defeat Hulk in a 1v1.
The thing about MCU series is that they put a lot of love and effort into each movie and how they interconnect to make such an incredible and moving universe.
I look everyday for a hulk tribute video, you know, how iron man, cap and thor all have one. Even thanos. And still this is the one that keeps popping up. Hulk is my number 1 superhero and thank you very much in making this! Honestly, this a well worked video and i really do want him to get the recognition he deserves.

Ok seriously this is the vary Best introduction to the Hulk I've ever seen !!! This should be the opening for the next Hulk film it should be called Hulk Forever More, For the Love of Hulk !!! That title with this into whould make the next Best Hulk film of All time !!!

Do you think that you could do a long and proper tearjerker tribute for Natasha Romanoff? Because all of her tributes are about her body, and the fact that she can kick butt, and when it is a tearjerker tribute, it's usually only 2 minutes long, and very heavy in romanogers. Which is awful because she has such a painful, and horrifying past.

I was actually contemplating doing a Natasha video but I need to familiarise myself a bit more with her story arc so if you've got any parallel suggestions or anything you'd like to see (along with tear jerker moments ha) then I'd love to hear them. @@MsFrankster66 I'm not sure how many parallels I know for Natasha, but one I am sure of is Gamora. For instance, Gamora was kidnapped at a young to be trained to be a killer assassin by Thanos, just like Natasha was taken by the Red Room.
Some real tearjerker moments for her are the Red Room flashback, the interrogation with Loki, talking about her graduation ceremony with Bruce. Part of scene with her and Steve in the car where she's saying that the truth is a matter of circumstance because he said it's hard to trust someone when you don't really know you that someone is.
Certain lines like "Is there anything real about you?"
"Agent Romanoff is comfortable with everything."
"Boy, it must hard to shake that double agent thing, huh? Sticks to the dna."
"Stop lying!"
"STOP LYING TO ME!"
"I only act like I know everything, Rogers."
"Are you sure you're ready for the world to see you as you really are?"
There is another parallel within her character that I've never seen someone do before is her name.
"Natalie Rushman."
"Black Widow. (In Russian by the interrogator in her first scene in Avengers 2012)"
"Natasha Romanoff."
"Natalia Alianovna Romanova."
She's a chameleon, always changing.
If you want anymore ideas you could to my Brutasha playlist where I've saved hundreds of videos of Bruce and Natasha that I think are really good. Ones that I recommend off the top of my head are "Smother" by Brilliant-But-Scary-Bad-Wolf (heavy in Romanogers, but a real tearjerker), "Realization" by IconicRomanovaa, "Unmade" by Sylfer2812, and "No Place In The World" by H.J.M. Edits.
There's a lot more to work with her character, hope this helps, though!
