At this point, we really need to just elect someone that both moderates and conservatives can agree on. We don't need some big fighter or pretentious "I'll do everything" type, but just someone who has enough experience to know the ropes while being inoffensive enough to keep the House GOP out of anymore unnecessary controversies. After months of chaos within the party, the smartest way to keep the majority is to just play things safe and build back some of the reputation that was lost over these past few weeks.
People like stability, and that is something that the House Republicans need to find real quickly if they want to keep Jeffries' hands off of the gavel.
