You don't really need to mark the gauges needle mark positions as they will re-adjust as long as you get them at zero or even below. Also notice that after your re-installation of the NEW LCD, you can see 9 bright "light" areas showing through especially at night. This makes reading the screen a little difficult. This is because there is a thin "light diffusion sheet" attached to the back of the original (bad) LCD that is not included with the new LCD. If you take that thin plastic white (diffusion sheet) layer off of the old LCD, you can simply re-stick it to the back of the replacement (new) LCD and you will not see the 9 lights as before. It can be easily removed with your fingernail and will re-stick to the new LCD.
