Murdured you first match but then you learned 2nd match 😔 But we all yelled ''OH GUYS ITS TREENUT'' again, you probably dont remember, but if so ggs.

Watching the steve matches made me realize that when they say "could have teched" its because they actually tech everything
With stuff like increased starting percent and upwards wind within the arena, you could probably make no ground challenges for the Links.
Or, alternatively, you can create a new no-ground setup where there is ground but clipped into the ground are a bunch of cannons, so Mega Man's Rush can land on the ground and Mega Man can bounce on Rush but if Mega man touches the ground, he dies.
I love the link idea, and for mega man why not make the floor lava and you start at 69% (if you touch lava at 100% or higher you are automatically ko’d)
@@dabeastle7116 You're probably confusing Great Cave Offensive lava with Stage Builder lava. Also, it wouldn't make sense if the floor didn't kill you immediately after you touch it (69% to 100%) because the point of "no floor" challenges is if you die if you fall too far. Cool ideas though!
@@wiredpotatomail the 69% thing was for the funnies and for a bit more competitive start as they try to get each other to death percent. and yes, you're right, I mixed up the lavas

I'd love to see this where only one person plays as Steve and Steve can't attack the other player. Like a keepaway game.

@@seitanile Kinda? but on this stage. So like...Banjo would be trying to use Steve's blocks to stand and would be trying to catch the Steve. Different kinda tag.
Are you saying as if the same no ground ruleset like the video or normal smash stages?
Also, placing TNT on a block makes the durability of that block last longer than a character standing on block
Is it worth the resources?
@@DausBugaboo could definitely be considered a mix up option atop a block to switch up timing or have a stage control element
TNT requires 50 pts of materials and
The TNT block itself can be mined from, which will yield only iron (10pts each) and redstone. Mining the TNT block does not affect its duration in play.
Using an anvil on the very edge of a block doesnt destroy it, you can mine on the anvil to hopefully get the iron back along with more resorces.
They know, they named it as tnt farming 11:56
they don't know the anvil method though
Tip for you guys: use side b as Steve to recover, you can go forward and then jump out for extra height. If need be, you can even down b to stall and then side b again and obviously jump out of that too.
Forgot to mention why side b is so good, it doesn't put you in free fall so you can build again and continue fighting
When I first learned about the TNT stall and how it has saved Steve mains from the bottom blast line, it blew my mind.
That sounds like it would drain resources really quickly though.
Underrated channel. If you guys weren't exclusively doing Smash I bet you'd still do fantastic, you guys are hilarious and I'm always looking forward to seeing your videos :)

if they made mechakoopa less laggy you could use Jr in this mode but I don't think you gain enough height to survive at 0 unfortunately

for the Steve game you could have survived many of the times you died because you can do side-B, jump/side-B, jump, TNT(down-B), side-B, jump, jump for three in air jumps.

It’s probably possible with toon link since he can throw his bomb at the wall and it will explode and when that happens the bomb is a neutral projectile

I think you can use link as well using the bombs to survive and using the other moves (except up-B) to attack your opponent

I love Duelist, probably one of my favorite game modes, wish it could be played on rivals, or really any sort of wacky mode. A stage builder and some stuff like items would help to just be able to build random fun modes in the sequel, not sure if they would do that though.

you can use pac-man in this mode if you land on each others' trampolines
You guys should try this again but maybe play around with items such as bumpers. Not sure if they'd spawn mid air like that or if they'd spawn on Steve's blocks

@@crabkid9890 maybe with mega man you could make a mode where each player is on one side in the air and try to barrage each other with projectiles in stamina mode. I think this is the best way to make the most out of mega mans moveset.

why is the banjo stage different from the snake stage? shouldnt the wind be there for both?
Technically this would work with Hero as well. So long as you can pull Zooms you'll be good.

@@AverageCatz You're wrong. If the stage is big enough (or close enough to the blast zones) it can work. They could also implement a little wind upwards to make them fall more slowly.
@@4xzx4 Keep in mind there's about 26 more or less spells Hero has at his disposal. The chances of him immediately getting it after 2 rolls is kinda not possible and if you get lucky with that it's not happening a third time

Can’t spawn the crafting table in midair. That’s why they farm for diamonds at the beginning of every stock

If you go from angled up to angled horizontal with the right timing that happens, lets Steve make it from the bottom blastzone of FD with a couple minecarts.
