Speaking of "fork boots" you don't need to remove the forks to install, and you don't need custom fit. Just get cheap boots in the color you want and slit them lengthwise; wrap around the exposed part you want to protect with the slit in the back, and use black zip-ties to snug them up. It WORKS........................elsullo

@@CruisersCorner I went to a craftsman who made me a fully handmade leather seat. Just fantastic. I live in Europe (company : Weber Tapissier) but I think it's the best option .

Heads up on the reflective tape. It's really not that bright. It is nice though. Also the valve stem light up caps are fun but they die way too quick. I got LEDs for my rebel 300. It's the end all be all for visibility for me. Also it shuts off with the bike. So no drain on the battery. All for 30$+

Great video! These bikes have so much potential for mods. I found a "used" 2021 Rebel 500 (184 miles!) that was already equipped with a couple of these plus engine guards. That would be my biggest suggestion, especially for a newer rider. They're not in the cheap category, but they are invaluable if/when you need them.

@@Imiss70sTV cool. Here in Japan lane filtering is legal, so all the 2 wheelers that are thin enough get to the front of the line at every red light. Cagers know better than to even try to get all the forward. It's great.

pretty neat. i have a 2019 Rebel 500. i have the grip puppies, the grips felt too small, the puppies fattened the grips, feels better. i installed bags on mine, floor boards, and just recently a puig wind screen. i have been thinking about that seat cushion, my seat is fine, but on longer rides i suffer from butt sweat, not numb butt, oh yeah i installed the orange wheel tape(orange tank)looks really good, verybright even after i year. my next item is an MP3 player and a set of speakers. i thought about the gear indicator, but i am used to the gears, i don't feel like i need it. well cool video for someone fixin to get a rebel, or just make it their own.

It still Lever , Always will be . NOT LEEEEEEVER.. If you put the tank guards on to protect the tank from your magnet mount bag scratching the tank the magnets won't stick to tank through the tank guards .

Those lighted valve stem caps are not rated for motorcycles, and putting any increased weight on valve stems is never recommend.

@@CruisersCorner Yes I do. The 500 is a great size bike. I've been riding for decades. The 500 has plenty of power for me and not too much for her. The 500 is great for a beginner or an experienced rider. It's a bike a person could start out on and really never out grow. We really like them. Some people think they need more power but in reality it has all the power you need.
