I used to buy the tins of Stagg Classic Chilli Con Carne quite regularly Papp... But once the price started to creep up a few years ago... I switched to the much cheaper brands instead... Originally the Stagg used to cost me a quid per tin... But they soon started increasing in price... Especially compared to some of the cheaper unbranded tins of Chilli Con Carne... I must admit that i absolutely love Garlic Bread with a good Chilli Con Carne... 😋 The Bramwells Chilli Con Carne 400g from Aldi... Is only £1.35... And it's pretty good too... But if i want to add some extra spiciness to it (which i do)... It's easily done with all the different Spices and Chilli Sauces i have in the house... I had a tin of Princes Mild Chicken Curry a few weeks ago... As i couldn't get a hold of their Hot Chicken Curry... And unfortunately there wasn't any spiciness in it at all... It was actually pretty tame my friend... I really wasn't enjoying it very much... So i grabbed a bottle of Reggae Reggae Sauce... And poured out and mixed in a good glug of the stuff... And i have to say Papp!... They make a great combination together... Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Sauce & Princes... Should definitely do a collaboration together... It was absolutely delicious pal... 😋 Many thanks for the review my friend... All the best... Cheers Papp. 🍺

Stagg chilli is lovely but I agree it's not dynamite I love the beef in it it reminds of the ground beef jalapeño taco bowls I munched on when I was last in America...you should try getting some risotto rice, adding lime juice, red pepper, chopped courgette, onion and jalapeño boiling it down, then add a can of stagg...it makes an amazing burrito filling but even better stuff it into a red or yellow pepper and slam in the oven 😋

Hiya mate - Chilli Con Carne is one of my favs and I always have loads of Donald Russell frozen chilli in my freezer.
If you like the bigger beef experience of this Stagg one then maybe you should try the Morrison's Nourish Chilli that they do - it has a mixture of mince and very good quality pulled beef with some fresh tomatoes that go nice and soft once cooked. It's probably not the sauciest one you will find but it certainly has more of home-cooked healthy feel to it.

As a guy who likes gut busting hot food, I’ve only been sated for my penchant for hot food by a curry from M and S designated as ‘ The Hot One’.

The heating instructions for you guys are 'Hob' whereas ours here are Stovetop. No difference though when it's served on buttered toast.. Yummy 👍🤤

I fear the search for a product holding substantial heat, may ultimately prove fruitless.
Labels and descriptions suggest manufacturers KNOW there is a demand for such, yet, for whatever reason, we’re not getting what it says on the tin.
    Ronseal, it ain’t.
It’s health and safety gone mad, I tells ya!
Papp, on a separate note, have you tired the McPlant?
I was in McDonalds the other day, minding my own business as usual, just complaining about the ridiculous “new” system and arguing with over zealous Uber drivers, when I overheard a young man telling his mates he was going to try a McPlant - I think this is modern day peer pressure. Less sex, drugs and rock & roll, more soy, vitamins and Tik & Tok.
19 minutes later his number was called and I watched the poor youngster take one bite before throwing the remaining sandwich straight in the bin. When his mates asked if it was really that bad, he explained that he was even struggling to swallow the mouthful he was still chewing.
    Quite the advert.
What’s more, we the discarded McPlant hurtled it’s way into the bottom of the rubbish bag, you could actually hear the cries of a million vegan TikTokers. Of course, the girl behind the counter claims it was the McFlurry machine, but I have my own beliefs.

Fair enough Chief. I do however really enjoy the beans so my score reflected my own opinion, which is all any of us can do my friend :D
