Cross Bar Recovery Board Brackets & LTO Top Load Registration

- To put more camping gear at the back, I have decided to put the recovery board on top of the cross bars with a custom bracket made by Radmarson's Roofrack and also register my top load at the LTO.

i am using a pickup and my rtt and side awning is installed to my bed rack (the bedrack is same level as the roof). I am confused because I thought that top load permit is still required, but the LTO inspector said that its not because a top load is one where a load is installed on top of the roof. In my case, the rtt and awning is installed on top of a bed rack and not on the roof. Any thoughts on this especially sa may similar setup as mine? Sabi kasi ng LTO inspector is opinion lng daw nya yun which is weird. I would need to go to LTO MVIS daw to get the answer if top load permit is still required for my setup.
First time hearing that! That's the problem, different LTO branches seems to have their own "understanding" or have different interpretations of regulations and processes like what I have mentioned in the video, in some LTO branches they look for the receipt of the roof rack/cross bars but on my case they didn't.

Side awning and cross bar create parang nag create ng whistle sound while driving? That's why.. New lang din side awning ko..
Yes sir it will. Sa case ko yung recovery board mostly nag gegenerate ng wind noise.
Pero I don't bother kasi mas importante na may mailagay na camping gears sa likod kaysa kainin ng recovery boards yung space na yun. At mainam na laging dala para in case na kailanganin.

Pwede naman. As long as the crossbar could support the weight of the rack and everything else on top of the rack.
Yung Rhino Rack ay may 100kg dynamic load capacity. Dynamic load meaning ito yung bigat na kaya nyang buhatin kapag naandar. Kung above 100kg yung rack + gamit mo, may posibilidad na kumalas yan kapag tumatakbo.
Hindi ko kasi alam spec, specifically yung bigat ng SR Performance rack. So just for an example sabihin nating nasa 30kg. So yung ikakarga mo sa rack should be 70kg or less (including awning).

@paoloblas8983 mas makapal Darche tho yung nga lang mas mahal compared sa ARB. With the same price ng Darche, hardcase na sa ARB.
