Great vid thank you as I’m about to do this. BTW the reason for cracking the fill plug before draining any fluid is to make sure it can be removed later, some people have drained the pan and then found out they couldn’t budge the fill plug - which is a big problem to have!
Yes very true if you drive your car year round and in snow where it can get very corroded!
How did the splash cover fit over that big DCT cover
I personally decided to not put it back on but it does fit just doesn’t look the best, a little buldgey
@@erez161I'm guessing the "mini-me" would fit better with the cover. Just did my DCT service last weekend for my 2011 Sdrive35i (DeepSeaBlue) == used an ECS Recommended kit since they are pretty local to me. Wish you would have posted sooner, it certainly helps confidence to have insights of others doing the work.
@@Christopher72x Yeah mini me wont be a problem at all. Sorry man! Lol yeah Ive been trying to push out a lot of Z4 videos but these mods are pricey lmao
