- The news agency AFP has released a new video of incendiary munitions raining in white over Bakhmut. This amid a fierce ground assault between Russian and Ukrainian forces over control of the city in the east. In Maryinka, Russian troops struck a Ukrainian munitions depot. Russian defence ministry released a new video of Ka-52 'Alligator' helicopters dropping missiles on Ukrainian targets on the frontline. A Ukrainian 'terrorist attack' was also reported in Zaporizhzhia. Watch this video for more updates from the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

There IS No Agreement on what that IS based on crappy Videos. IT can be termite or phosphorus, but in both Case IT IS a war crime If delivered to civilian areas from Air.
To be Sure that this IS Not White phosphorus you would actually need a spectral Analysis which you can't do on ordinary Videos since ordinary cameras are Not scientific Instruments.
These incendiary charges do Not use white phosphorus! Termite shells contain a thermite mixture as a military incendiary substance. As a rule, it is made on the basis of aluminum or magnesium with metal oxides, more often iron. For example, the 9M22S shells for the Russian 'Grad' MLRS are made on the basis of magnesium.
Given me a spectral Analysis of the light come from that amunition and I will believe that this IS Not phosphorus.

For all those wondering: the KA-54 doesn't "lob casually" the rockets, it has a special electro-mechanical device fixed on the right side of the main window frame that receives the target area location data from the onboard battle radar/computer and has a buzzer and a gyroscopic tilt/angle measuring device that tells the gunner and pilot when and at which inclination it's time to fire the rockets to hit it.
When the buzzer starts the pilot slows to a hover position and tilts the nose upwards, when the gunner sees the tilt is right on the device he fires away.
It's pretty intuitive and with a bit of practice it's pretty accurate considering no fancy guided missiles are used but just cheap ballistic rockets and allows a good standoff tactical bombing from roughly 6-8km away from the target area and the shoulder/fixed AA defending it.
Very effective against entrenched personnel.
