I think people in general can get trapped in sticking to some sort of convention...some way of thinking or being. It’s ironic though how the critics on this channel want a bend toward one right way when metal did one thing really well....CHALLENGED CONVENTIONS AND ‘norms’ with a big “fuk ewe”. When haters and critics complain here, they sound like the PMRC in the 80’s. Maybe I should get Dee Snyder or Frank Zappa on their asses!!!!

KENNY ! Take care of these woosies for us, would ya?...and remind them that they have a choice to stay or f*#k off ! They sound like whiny censors. We react as we are. If we start taking cues for our reactions, THAT’S FAKE. I like using my Kelekaster...I enjoy air drumming like Animal. There’s lots of other channels to listen to...stare at...take notes with. That’s not us and never will be. Kel hates watching live video of music being played for her first listen. So do I. The whole Jinjer thing is so silly. The idea is to ‘listen to the song’. She growls like a guy. That’s neat to find out after we gave it a spin ‘au naturel’. We are not challenging conventions on purpose. We just want the music in our ears first. Then, when we did, we can go find out, as they say...the REST of the story.

I enjoyed you and your wife reactions to Iron maiden blood brothers. I've been listening to Them since 86.. 1st heard Bruce beautiful vocals on Flight of icarus. The guitar riffs, the drums, the story telling in their songs is priceless. Hallowed be thy name, blood brothers keeps you mesmerized. Love janick riffs. Love the true heavy metals bands of the 80s. Guns n Roses November Rain is another awesome song. Again enjoyed you both. I'm a black man that loves all great music no matter what genre

It's an instrumental. Chuck Schuldiner wrote it after learning he had brain cancer. First time I heard it, knowing that, I was in tears. It still gets me to this day. He died a few years later.

It's slow and sad then that solo from janick kicks in and is very uplifting and gives you hope.

First album after Bruce Dickinson rejoined the Maiden fold after having gone solo for ten years between 1990 and 2000. Was a nice surprise too; after the disappointments of the two albums with singer Blaze Bailey. Lovely reaction. Thanks for that.

This was the perfect reaction video IMO. Such a mega authentic reaction, especially the catch of the breath at 5:45, then the almost relief, as if a discovery of something deep inside of Kel. This song still brings tears to me, even after listening to it for so long. Much love to you both.

Me again! I commented right at the start because I was moved to/had to get that out! But yeah, beautiful song, I admit to it being able to draw a (very very manly) tear out of me! Bruce actually keeps it subtle but passionate and still powerful with his voice. You can really hear the combination of inspiration, amazing craftsmanship, and, interestingly, brotherhood between these guys. I love it too .Like you Kel, I used to play music, but in a rock band. But I wasn't a musician, I was the singer! I feel that's an important distinction! I was the bastard that got to drink too much and jump around like a lunatic. Not know what key I'm singing in, even though I wrote the song, I'd have forgotten! Hehehehe was fun!
The only downside was I'm still going to the dentist for getting smashed in the face with the mic! Either from the guitarist whipping round to face me and knocking the stand with his guitar neck! I'm gonna have to pick up these 2015 Remasters. Much clearer sound. But I did notice that the Mix may be different as well. During the "We're like Blood Brothers" chorus, the original mix had a more orchestration sound in the back ground. In this mix, it sounded more like a subdued guitar sound.
