Amazing projects again! I love the Real Comfort piece. I keep thinking about doing that in teals. I hope you enjoyed Market, so many gorgeous projects out there (and your model stitch was just beautiful, I know that fabric will be a nightmare to get in the UK, but I may have to buy). Murdle sounds really cool, too, so that has gone straight in my cart😊 🪻
Oh that would be stunning in teals, I actually think my next monochromatic tone on tone piece is going to be in teals!

I'm a huge Brandon Sanderson fan, and absolutely loved Tress of the Emerald Sea. I signed up for his Kickstarter campaign last year, and the physical books are gorgeous. I have read the first three books of his Stormlight Archive series, and I highly recommend them (the first book is a bit rough as the main character is in a low point). This series also has great quotes to substitute in your cross stitch. Enjoy market!

I agree about Crescent City. I have hopes for her next book release. 🤞 About the cosmere… I started with Stormlight Archives- I think because it was available at my library. By the 2nd chapter I was hooked and now own the series. It’s amazing. Sanderson is amazing. I am just now starting Mistborn. I also have 4th Wing and Assassin’s Apprentice on hold tbr. Have fun at market!

Your women’s suffrage piece is perfect! Such a fun episode. And love the bookish talk. Lisa See is one of my favorite authors, since you liked Lady Tan I HIGHLY recommend reading more of her books. Island of the Sea Women is a personal favorite. Also I’ve been eyeing that Brandon Sanderson for a while, I have to pick it up now. I really like his Mistborn series and am tempted to do a re-read. I also started Way of Kings but that’s a big one. Hope you have fun at Market!

The amount of stitching you get done every month is seriously impressive!! 🌷 Can you share your stitchy setup sometime? I'd love to hear your tips and tricks for working on high count linens. Have fun at market, can't wait to hear about it!!
Thank you! I'll see about filming my setup, honestly my best tricks for high count linens are to start with magnifiers and good lighting! I used to have to wear magnification, but now that I stitch on it so much my eyes and muscle memory have adjusted and I don't need it any more! So the more you do it helps!

I have in the past, I'm not sure exactly which video, but I use a combination of the app Markup R-XP and the Stitchy Nati Notion template!

Thank you! I use the app Markup-RXP, but if you have a non-apple device you can use Pattern Keeper! Both do about the same thing!

Hello! When you stitch on the 20 count aida with the variegated thread, do you do each full cross at a time (separately) or make half crosses and go back down each row to achieve that variation?! 😊
Usually I just do whatever I feel like in the moment, lol! For this piece I did half stitches across and back and the variegation came out great! But if I want more distinctive colors I'll do one cross at a time!
