Chapter 4 season 4 is high key my favorite season of all time. Lowkey a better season 2 combined with the amazing graphics theme and gameplay of chapter 4. Its lootpool was also incredibly dynamic and fun. It was just an amazing storm of great content. I will glaze this season till I die
I’ve been playing since CH1S2 and to this day my favorite season is still unchanged: Resistance. Genuinely the best season Fortnite has ever had. Sprinting, sliding, zero build, tanks, drivable battle buses, the big finish for the imagined order storyline with weekly voiced quests to boot, and in my opinion, the last genuine Fortnite event with collision and the return of the Mec and Paradigm. Absolute perfection. It’s genuinely felt like the Fortnite version of infinity war. Miss it so much.
Chapter 4 season 4 has the unlucky fate of being between absolute garbage chapter 4 season 3 and the very popular season OG. Genuine shame cause it was a good season as well.

I feel like I'm the only person who LOVED C3S3. Very underrated imo, awesome new biome that reminded me of Avatar, decent battle pass, great weapon additions (minus charge smg) good collabs with vader and dbz (im not even interested in dbz but the kamehameha was absolute dumb fun) and the constant map changes with randomised locations, and generally a distinct, already-nostalgic vibe (fittingly). I miss that summer.
Alright, I know I am gonna get plenty of hate for this... but I find Chapter 4 Season 3 to be a guilty pleasure of mine. Despite the saddening removal of Anvil Square in that season, I enjoyed the jungle areas and the massive traversability you could get from the treetops. I also enjoyed new features like the different plants you could find in the jungle, as well as the mud you could use for traversability. The lootpool was also a bit iffy at times, such as the Cloaked Gauntlets or the Sharp Tooth Shotgun, but other additions like the Optimus Prime Cannon and Mammoth Pistol were extremely fun to use. On top of that, I really liked the Battle Pass. Era, Trace, Relik, Lorenzo, Optimus Prime and Purradise Meowscles were all skins I looked forward to unlocking for several reasons, whether it be lore, or them just looking cool.
honestly, what ruined chapter 5 s2 for me was waterbending, that abomination was horribly overpowered, and also the chains of hades after it got unvaulted was also crazy.
OH MY GOD. I LOVE RESISTANCE, C2S5, AND LAST RESORT! SUCH GREAT SEASONS! Resistance might be my favorite ever, thanks to the storyline, and Last Resort had such great characters and theming, and would have been top 3 for me if it had actual voiced story quests
C2s5 was really good. The center of the map was cool, the battle pass was decent, the locations were good, they added so many new mechanics and it was fun
A few things. One, we don't need AS many Mythics that we had in Chapter 2 Season 4 for Chapter 2 Season 5, but give us SOMETHING. Give us like a throwing axe for Kratos, or a reskin of Storm's Mythic for The Flash (since he does do something like that in certain adaptions), or even just a semi reskin of Doctor Doom's Plasma Ball for Ryu. Two, Chapter 4 Season 4 MY BELOVED. I ADORED the feeling of Chapter 4 Season 4, with the red sky, it always looked SO GOOD during sunset. And I LOVED having the choice to pick which Mythic I could get, since I could choose between a Mythic that everyone loves but I personally hate (The MK7) and a Mythic I LOVE that everyone else hates (The Boom Bow). And finally, Chapter 5 Season 2 is still my FAVORITE Season in Chapter 5 (so far). I will admit it kinda fell off when they removed the Greek God weapons, but even THEN, it is still a top 10 Season of ALL TIME for me. Just such good memories from it, and the loot pool was AMAZING.
As a person who loves every fortnite season cough cough (except for chapter 2 season 7 and 8) most seasons are underrated because each season has a ton of unique stuff making each season different and unique making the game always fun so 28 of the 30 seasons are at least B tier

For the battle pass, I don’t think Superman is a meme skin and I don’t think Rick Sanchez is a forgettable tier 100 skin and we also got an important storyline skin with Doctor Slone. The live event was also fire. C2S8 I have to agree with you to a certain point. The lootpool changes were minimal with the sideways weapons and Venom/Carnage mythics, FortniteMares was pretty lackluster, as well as were the map changes. The battle pass wasn’t great and the only skins which stood out were Carnage as a tier 100 skin and the Cube Queen as the secret skin, who was only important for this singular season. But as positives for C2S8: the Sideways were a cool gimmick, which was kinda pulled over from season X Retail Row, being able to upgrade the sideway’s weapons’ rarity with cube parts from sideways monsters was neat, they brought back shopping carts, golf carts and a less powerful mech and the chapter 2 finale event had everyone talking about it with the Rock. While I heavily disagree with you on C2S7, I think what you said can definitely apply to C2S8, but there are seasons, which did much worse in comparison like Primal

We also had updates with things such as that one mini game with the UFOs to upgrade loot, we got the plasma cannon, the inflate-a-bull, the ferrari, prop-ifer, grab-itron. Battle pass may not have been the best, I will agree with you on that. The launch of season 8 was bad at first, but this season had the last good Fortnitemares event, adding caretakers, the Convergence, and the scythe. They accidentally unvaulted the ATK if I recall, and they added back mechs, love them or hate them. We also had the finale event which was one of the last good events we had in Fortnite. I can agree with you that the battle passes for Season 7 and Season 8 were kinda bad. But I don't agree with how you said there wasn't a lot of content, because these seasons were packed with it. In my opinion my least favorite seasons were Chapter 5 Season 1 and Chapter 5 Season 2.
Last Resort definitely had to best graphics. I hope we get graphics like those for Chapter 6. Only thing that would’ve made this season better would’ve been the storyline
IMO the most underrated season of all time is chapter 2 season 3. Ik a lot of people don’t like this season because it was really hard to traverse the map because of the flood, and sharks would jump out at you every 5 seconds and this was the season coral castle was introduced and the pump was vaulted but thinking about it now, I think it was really underrated and this is why I think it is: 1) this is the season when epic and legendary hunting rifles were introduced which is one of Fortnite’s most loved/used snipers/weapons of all time 2) even though it was chaotic, it WAS FUN. The sharks jumping out at you was really funny. Somebody setting your built fight on fire was quite funny and having a circle ending on a whirlpool or the middle of the water was also really chaotic, but fun and funny. 3) the loot pool was really good. You had the auto ar and burst ar which is one of the best ar combos, you had a fast firing medium damage shotgun and a high damage but harder to use shotgun, you had a high damage low medium fire rate smg and a low damage fast firing smg, and, obviously, how can you forget about the bolt action sniper and the hunting rifle combo. Also, rpgs were quite rare which was nice. 4) this is the season cars were introduced. I mean, think about it. If this was never a season, would you be driving around in a Lamborghini or a Tesla cyber truck today?! 5) the story was good: we found out jules was Midas’ daughter, there were huge teasers and leaks and story related things leading up to aqua man and coral castle (which you have to admit, was cool when it first came out) and there was a big build up to the marvel season which happened next 6) the battle pass was really good: jules and ocean are good skins, eternal knight is one of the best knight themed skins in the game, kit was a really cool, funny skin (memey as well), and the final stage of fate reminded me of drift (one of the best tier 1 skins). Even the worst skin in the pass WASNT EVEN THAT BAD. He (scuba jonsey) was still a decent skin that played a part in the storyline etc. All of this is why I think imo chapter 2 season 3 of Fortnite is the most underrated season of all time
An extremely underrated season for me is Chapter 2 season 8, actually peak, yet I never hear anyone talk about it and when they do it’s usually negative. Invasion is also a bit underrated but it’s much more beloved than cubed.
i loved c5 s2 at first but it got boring and at the end i almost stopped playing fortnite but season 3 is way worse this game just doesn't feel the same now
I think one of my most underrated seasons would have to be C3S4. The chrome was very unique and the balloons were fun to use for traversal. This season also introduced my favorite skin Meow Skulls. But I disagree with you on C5S2, it is one of my least favorite seasons ever. My biggest problem is the Underworld dash. It's way too easy to spam and makes fighting in that biome way too sweaty. What makes it worse is that there was the Grim Gate medallion that gave you regenerating dashes. If you had that medallion, 9 times out of 10 you win the game.
C4S4 and C5S2 is my favorite seasons (I'm playing since c1sX). C4S4 = storyline, perfect theme, very atmosphere music, one of the most underrated fortniemares and ONLY THING IN C4 WHAT LOOKS LIKE LIVE EVENT (eclipse in first part of day in fortniemares). C5S2 = cool lootpool, live event, rise of Midas event, four big new locations and wonderful battle pass.

Maybe I'll be crucified in public for saying this but.. my favorite fortnite season oat was Chapter 2 season 8. I love Kevin, I love the zombies mechanic (although I understand some people don't), the secret skin was actually SECRET for once and the event was a banger. I do understand that the lootpool was kinda garbage because of the cube weapons but it was just so much fun. Oh and the Cube queen actually felt like a enemy, unlike some other fortnite villains.
I mean in my opinion megalodon is the better villain than kado. Cause I will admit kado was cool but his story ended to soon..if he even had one. Because he was killed off from the story...by a fortnitemares quest and he had no voicelines what's so ever, he wasn't very menacing and didn't have a goal.
However, megalodon sounds very menacing, has voicelines, and has a goal to lift the island off the ground via his leviathan ship and he's basically a distraction for a bigger threat too. That being the wanderer. But I will respect your opinion as I will say I did think kado was the best villain when we first saw him.
Oh, also fun fact about kado. In the Marvel x fortnite comic that unfortunately, got cancelled, I think it was called a new order or something. It was actually gonna show Kado Thorne himself interacting with the collector.
Here's my take on what Myths and mortals is not a good season. 1. Map change The map changes were good but they only added 4 at the beginning. They should've added 2 in the beginning then 2 more in the middle or have 4 new POIS and one in the middle. But they also could've made every new location have a mythic boss and that segways into. 2. No mythics This season had so much missed potential by only having 3 mythics. They could've had another marvel season and have each boss drop a unique mythic like Zeus's infinite lightning, or chains of hades that give speed boost, and have ares get a mythics where you can press reload to swap between a spear, sword, and axe. They really didn't do much with the theme and my final gripe is 3. Lack of Identity This season other than the skulls and mythics really doesn't have an identity and it really showed with the avatar update and them removing the thing that was the seasons identity, without those the game is just season 1 with 4 new pois and some new weapons. Overall I dislike it because it had so much potential but I digress.

All good takes bar C2S6. C2S6 is unironically a 0/10. It's like Fortnite, but bows and crafting is more important than good guns. The way you would make good guns would be crafting... which is incredibly difficult. The story was good, the skins were good... that's it. Other than that it had no redeeming qualities imo. C4S2 still one of my top 3 seasons tho

Imo the chrome season was good because well main skin finally came out but also just the chrome it just kinda made building less sweaty and more easier to win in builds. Also wilds was great.....
C5:S2, wasn't it because the lightning bolt hate was because it shuts down box builds with the medallions emphasizing the issue of them making fights inherently unfair? I felt the pass was mediocre, Poseidon had the least issues since he only has the default glider reskin issue, this pass required the most grind people realized, and there we're various bugs that affected the pass itself. Weaponwise, I hate the Warforged and Gatekeeper, Warforged replaced a AR that was balanced and should've had the Nemesis and Enforcer buffed to it's standard, Gatekeeper is the doublepump problem but one item with 10% less damage then the pump.
Ch3 s2 was so fun also I think we were supposed to see the Marvel Zero War comics in-game because Iron man came through the portal Dr. Strange opened in the trailer but Iron man was never in the season
Yoooo aggro it's been a while since I've commented but when I think underrated season, chapter 5 season 1 comes to mind, I know it kind of got stale halfway through but you know, I had so much fun that season and it's in my top 10, solid snake was clean and we finally got peter Griffin, not to mention we got a whole lotta changes. I can agree with you that the battle passes for Season 7 and Season 8 were kinda bad. But I don't agree with how you said there wasn't a lot of content, because these seasons were packed with it.
In my opinion my least favorite seasons were Chapter 5 Season 1 and Chapter 5 Season 2.
Chapter 3 Season 2 is peak and I will not expect anyone telling me otherwise

Last Resort definitely had to best graphics. I hope we get graphics like those for Chapter 6. Only thing that would’ve made this season better would’ve been the storyline
IMO the most underrated season of all time is chapter 2 season 3. Ik a lot of people don’t like this season because it was really hard to traverse the map because of the flood, and sharks would jump out at you every 5 seconds and this was the season coral castle was introduced and the pump was vaulted but thinking about it now, I think it was really underrated and this is why I think it is:
1) this is the season when epic and legendary hunting rifles were introduced which is one of Fortnite’s most loved/used snipers/weapons of all time
2) even though it was chaotic, it WAS FUN. The sharks jumping out at you was really funny. Somebody setting your built fight on fire was quite funny and having a circle ending on a whirlpool or the middle of the water was also really chaotic, but fun and funny.
3) the loot pool was really good. You had the auto ar and burst ar which is one of the best ar combos, you had a fast firing medium damage shotgun and a high damage but harder to use shotgun, you had a high damage low medium fire rate smg and a low damage fast firing smg, and, obviously, how can you forget about the bolt action sniper and the hunting rifle combo. Also, rpgs were quite rare which was nice.
4) this is the season cars were introduced. I mean, think about it. If this was never a season, would you be driving around in a Lamborghini or a Tesla cyber truck today?!
5) the story was good: we found out jules was Midas’ daughter, there were huge teasers and leaks and story related things leading up to aqua man and coral castle (which you have to admit, was cool when it first came out) and there was a big build up to the marvel season which happened next
6) the battle pass was really good: jules and ocean are good skins, eternal knight is one of the best knight themed skins in the game, kit was a really cool, funny skin (memey as well), and the final stage of fate reminded me of drift (one of the best tier 1 skins). Even the worst skin in the pass WASNT EVEN THAT BAD. He (scuba jonsey) was still a decent skin that played a part in the storyline etc.
All of this is why I think imo chapter 2 season 3 of Fortnite is the most underrated season of all time
An extremely underrated season for me is Chapter 2 season 8, actually peak, yet I never hear anyone talk about it and when they do it’s usually negative. Invasion is also a bit underrated but it’s much more beloved than cubed.

Chapter 2 Season 5 was my starting season so I of course have huge bias to it, glad that someone at least shares my enjoyment of it.
I think one of my most underrated seasons would have to be C3S4. The chrome was very unique and the balloons were fun to use for traversal. This season also introduced my favorite skin Meow Skulls. But I disagree with you on C5S2, it is one of my least favorite seasons ever. My biggest problem is the Underworld dash. It's way too easy to spam and makes fighting in that biome way too sweaty. What makes it worse is that there was the Grim Gate medallion that gave you regenerating dashes. If you had that medallion, 9 times out of 10 you win the game.
C4S4 and C5S2 is my favorite seasons (I'm playing since c1sX). C4S4 = storyline, perfect theme, very atmosphere music, one of the most underrated fortniemares and ONLY THING IN C4 WHAT LOOKS LIKE LIVE EVENT (eclipse in first part of day in fortniemares). C5S2 = cool lootpool, live event, rise of Midas event, four big new locations and wonderful battle pass.

Maybe I'll be crucified in public for saying this but.. my favorite fortnite season oat was Chapter 2 season 8. I love Kevin, I love the zombies mechanic (although I understand some people don't), the secret skin was actually SECRET for once and the event was a banger. I do understand that the lootpool was kinda garbage because of the cube weapons but it was just so much fun. Oh and the Cube queen actually felt like a enemy, unlike some other fortnite villains.
People also forget that the quests gave 40,000 xp, and there was weekly loot or map changes throughout
I think the map and battlepass held this season back.. it was kinda fun cause we got a cool event gameplay and villain was sick aswell

I mean in my opinion megalodon is the better villain than kado. Cause I will admit kado was cool but his story ended to soon..if he even had one. Because he was killed off from the story...by a fortnitemares quest and he had no voicelines what's so ever, he wasn't very menacing and didn't have a goal.
However, megalodon sounds very menacing, has voicelines, and has a goal to lift the island off the ground via his leviathan ship and he's basically a distraction for a bigger threat too. That being the wanderer. But I will respect your opinion as I will say I did think kado was the best villain when we first saw him.
Oh, also fun fact about kado. In the Marvel x fortnite comic that unfortunately, got cancelled, I think it was called a new order or something. It was actually gonna show Kado Thorne himself interacting with the collector.

Here's my take on what Myths and mortals is not a good season.
1. Map change
The map changes were good but they only added 4 at the beginning. They should've added 2 in the beginning then 2 more in the middle or have 4 new POIS and one in the middle. But they also could've made every new location have a mythic boss and that segways into.
2. No mythics
This season had so much missed potential by only having 3 mythics. They could've had another marvel season and have each boss drop a unique mythic like Zeus's infinite lightning, or chains of hades that give speed boost, and have ares get a mythics where you can press reload to swap between a spear, sword, and axe. They really didn't do much with the theme and my final gripe is
3. Lack of Identity
This season other than the skulls and mythics really doesn't have an identity and it really showed with the avatar update and them removing the thing that was the seasons identity, without those the game is just season 1 with 4 new pois and some new weapons.
Overall I dislike it because it had so much potential but I digress.

All good takes bar C2S6. C2S6 is unironically a 0/10. It's like Fortnite, but bows and crafting is more important than good guns. The way you would make good guns would be crafting... which is incredibly difficult. The story was good, the skins were good... that's it. Other than that it had no redeeming qualities imo. C4S2 still one of my top 3 seasons tho

C5:S2, wasn't it because the lightning bolt hate was because it shuts down box builds with the medallions emphasizing the issue of them making fights inherently unfair? I felt the pass was mediocre, Poseidon had the least issues since he only has the default glider reskin issue, this pass required the most grind people realized, and there we're various bugs that affected the pass itself. Weaponwise, I hate the Warforged and Gatekeeper, Warforged replaced a AR that was balanced and should've had the Nemesis and Enforcer buffed to it's standard, Gatekeeper is the doublepump problem but one item with 10% less damage then the pump.
Ch3 s2 was so fun also I think we were supposed to see the Marvel Zero War comics in-game because Iron man came through the portal Dr. Strange opened in the trailer but Iron man was never in the season

Yoooo aggro it's been a while since I've commented but when I think underrated season, chapter 5 season 1 comes to mind, I know it kind of got stale halfway through but you know, I had so much fun that season and it's in my top 10, solid snake was clean and we finally got peter Griffin, not to mention we got a whole lotta changes. I just kinda wish they kept up the pace throughout the whole season
