Chapter 4 summer event was fun it got me back into fortnite mainly because of zero build. I have not played the game since 2017.

I feel like the whole "Fortnite Metaverse" has played into a factor of us having BAD Seasonal Events. 14 Days of Summer was my favourite event ever, as there were new skins, new LTMS, weapons coming back, and new weapons and more we need seasonal events to be like this. I think it's harder for Fortnite to balance: Collabs, Events, Mini Events, Original Skins as they've to work on so much more now. 🙌🏾
Yes maybe Fortnite has changed a lot after the CEO got replaced, but each and everyone of us have a different opinion, some seasons may be loved depending of the theme for example Chapter 5 Season 2 which I loved a lot because I am a fan of Greek mythology and Avatar which I got so excited for.
(Btw I do agree SOME of the updates are pretty shat don't get me wrong)
Like I said this isn’t against modern Fortnite, I love chapter 5. But the seasonal events have been worse than ever.
The stupid metaverse is a huge reason to blame for bad live events and seasonal events and let's not forget our boy Donald mustard left Fortnite needs to do something player counts keep dropping

I think mainly Fortnite has been pushing away battle Royal and focusing on the other game modes
i quit fortnite this season its just not fun not the same and its lost its identity, battle passes even suck now

What would you say is Fortnite’s identity?
The chapter 5 season 1 winterfest got rid of the cabin and replaced it with a small screen in the quest tab. Gave us one mid and one decent skin. Watered down sgt winter and made him less exiting AND gave us a really small poi that 9 times out of ten was in the storm. Best event ever!
