Vibin’ and Paradise weren’t nearly as bad as some people say imo.
For Paradise, the chrome gimmick was pretty fun and I especially loved the upgradable chrome weapons. The loot pool in general felt good to me as well, and the complete sense of helplessness as we suffered a complete and sudden horrifying loss in the story was so exciting. The live event was awful though, yuck.
For Vibin’, the map was absolutely stunning to look at, especially at night. The whole reality seed stuff that you could plant was a great feature too that awarded you for playing more matches, however I could see how some people would think of it as unfair towards the start of any game, didn’t really bother me though since it was something anyone could do. I do think it went on for a little longer than it needed too but I don’t think that should detract from the entire season. I also just really loved the energy throughout the season too.
Additional notes for both of these seasons I should mention. The collabs in both of these seasons were amazing, and I get that’s a subjective thing. Dragon Ball and OT Star Wars were so cool to see for the first time, and I really like that the DB event was treated big enough to have actual items in-game that were genuinely useful and fun. Neither of these seasons were masterpieces, far from it, but they weren’t nearly as bad as some try to make them out to be.
Honestly I really loved C3S4; I thought the chrome was a pretty fun and unique mechanic and the evochrome weapons were also pretty cool and im hoping they come back some day
they should at least add the chrome items in creative
I think the chrome stuff was great 100%, in general I liked the Chapter 3 seasons a lot

Chapter 2 Season 6 was not that bad but that could be my nostalgia bias. Also the Chrome Weapons weren't that bad.
Also, for Vibin and Paradise, the amount of new POIs we got was insane with 11 new POIs in Paradise. Wilds was awful with awful skins but the jungle looked phenomenal
I wish we got that many map changes nowadays

Ch2 S6 - had a phenomenal event opener, primal was ambitions but it was frustrating than ❤fun, Battle Pass - was awesome and neymar being apart of the pass makes sense due to how random and unpredictable fortnite has always been even, Gameplay - Ch2 S5 was extremely sweaty and in Primal it didnt slow down at all, it got worse, so imagine making makeshift weapons with tickle damage and having to farm parts in order to get a one tap pump weapon and if you didnt have the pump then you was a goner that season, the wild weeks were way worse and players were way too toxic to trust when they tried the survival LTM, not to mention the raptors one shotting any way you place, also in wild week imagine having several forced box fights with flames constanly catching fire on your builds/any environment or have players abusing the shockwave bow since it gives 30+ ammo....yeah annoying elements, the storyline stuff was good and interesting and the mythic were bad, my favorite LTM was the Aloy & Lara Croft mode (one person has to carry guns, the other has to carry bows) primal should've happened during the Zero Build era.
Ch3 S3 this season got boring one month in and if you werent into purchasing skins, its sad this was donald mustards last season he was apart of, this season was more of a goodbye to the original team/devs, fun fact donlad loved Vader and Indiana Jones. Gameplay - they did an amazing job on the Vader Boss (they made him scary to fight) and indiana jones poi (the loot was great), this season had so many positives like Rave Cave, Ballers, Flares, sampling trees you can grow and have it carry over to the next game that gave great loot, weapons were decent but i never liked the two shot shotgun, Battle Pass - it was nice but most things that they hyped was a let down even Vaders lightsaber was so easy to counter that it wasnt worth gabbing after being in the game for 2 days, Battle Pass - it was nice and the summer event was cheeks with mid rewards besides the music pack
Ch4 S3 - where do I start...... battle pass - was meh i dont use any of these skins, i use the gliders/pickaxes than anything else, anyone who says this season is overhatted definitely did not spend enough time playing that season because man.... Gameplay, the weapons were cheeks, the cloak gauntlet was bad, if you didnt have the explosive Rifle or MK then you was a goner also the augments were mid and didnt help you half the time worse than ever due to how jungle based heavy they was, the mud effect got annoying especially when trying to escape fights and the mythics were tickle weapons? the jungle biome was frustrating to be at especially in endgames with so many players camping.

I have to disagree with vibin and praradise. These 2 and chapter 3 in general was some of my favourite times in fortnite. Vibin had a really good loot pool, good map changes at the beginning, had a mix of vibes and collabs, etc, only problem with the season was the coral castle map changes XD. Chrome also had some constant map changes with a good loot pool and some new unique features, only problem this season was the live event. These are my opinions.
Honestly I think Chapter 3 season 4 is pretty alright. It’s definitely not my favorite and I can see why people dislike it.

The map looked so unappealing and boring, and the lootpool wasn’t good at all. They’re kinda doing the same thing with this chapter, minus the loot part. Ch5 season 2 is redeeming it for me though.
Ch4 s1 and ch4 s2 were really good but then ch4 s3 was bad and ch4 s4 was ok
I loved wilds and even primal i played quite a bit. I get im in the minority, and its all just perspective. Some people like one season and others dont

Honestly I’m actually not a big hatter of wilds. Everyone in our friend group was playing a lot then so there a some great memories from that period. The game might not have been amazing but honestly I think the memories made during wilds balanced it out
Chapter 2 Season 6: I have to agree with you about the crafting mechanic in Season 6 . Looking back, it was unique, if only if it were better. The Jump Boots were cool, but you had to do so much effort to get them, going to one of the spire towers and then bringing it to the main one they had pretty good mobility, though. Collabs should also be on the theme with the season. It makes it make SENSE
Chapter 3 Season 4: The Goo Gun was so fun to use and eliminate players. I had actually so much fun with it. The Slide Kick feature is a fun mechanic.
Chapter 3 Season 3: I wish that the ballers had no fuel. Apart from that, it was awesome to see them come back. The Goku update helped to save the season, in my opinion, so much fun and meme out of it. You had me on the Dua Lipa 😭
Chapter 4 Season 3: We needed more updates, the mud was okay. The mobility was good with the shockwaves, plants, vines, Cybertron..

29th:C4S3(aka wilds),I only played at the start of the season because of how boring it was
28th:C2S6,Istg this season is so trash,makeshift weapons just absolute garbage
27th:C2S1,only 1 update which brought the harpoon gun,nothing other than that
26th:C3S3,Epic didn’t really do a live event and the whole Vibing theme wasn’t that good
25th:C4S4,didn’t play much and only added like 3 POIs,not much,but Fortnitemares carried it
24th:C1S6,dual crossbows are trash and very small map changes
23rd:C1S3,hot take,but overrated season and only 1 POI added,and only like 3 good skins in the battle pass
22nd:C1S9,not much good skins in the battle pass besides Singularity and Sentinel,and they replaced tilted towers,live event was lit tho
21st:C3S4,this is the start of mid seasons,better than trash,but worse than okay,but map changes are just ehhhh
20th:C5S2,Star Wars collab came by in a blink,avatar collab carried,and half the mythics aren’t that good
19th:C1S1,skins were only reskins of defaults and map was okay
18th:C5S1,start of okay seasons,TMNT collab was good but the shops are just 🤮,but medallions were added which actually made bosses more interesting
17th:C3S2,good storyline but map changes were only okay at best
16th:C1SX,good live event,but map changes were okay,dusty depot was brought back,Gotham city,and Pandora
15th:C2S8,sideways weapons were just not that good,bad map changes,but venom mythics were good and a good storyline with a good battle pass
14th:C2S7,not much map changes but there was a good storyline,and good loot pool
13th:C2S5,this section is that start of good seasons,map changes were good,I liked the loot pool,and overall good gameplay and battle pass
12th:C2S3,overal largest map change of all time,and a good battle pass
11th:C1S2,tilted was added and the battle pass and loot pool were good
10th:C1S5,good map but battle pass was okay,nothing really good besides drift or sun strider
9th:C4S1,start of phenomenal seasons,good loot pool overall,good battle pass,map was good
8th:C4S2,map was amazing and loot pool and battle pass was good
7th:C3S1,Spider-Man web shooters were amazing and very good map and loot pool
6th:OG Season,nostalgia factor,also OG map with new mechanics and graphics make it better
5th:C1S4,good weapons like Drum Gun and LMG,and actually epic started to renovate old locations and make them better
4th:C2S2,I know people will get mad at me for not placing it in my top 3 but absolutely phenomenal battle pass and loot pool,also amazing map changes
3rd:C1S8,this is the start of my godly seasons,jungle biome was just amazing and I loved most of the battle pass and loot pool
2nd:C2S4,I can’t explain how phenomenal this season is but amazing mechanics,loot pool,battle pass,and map
