Carnage reel from the Upper Nantahala and Cascades release during NOC's 2012 Guest Appreciation Festival. This video shows a number of entertaining wrecks, spills, and precarious predicaments that rafters and kayakers found themselves in during NOC's Guest Appreciation Festival.
The Cascades is a demanding Class V gorge run, with most rapids being waterfalls or slides. Advanced paddlers usually have to rely on heavy rains to run the Cascades, but during GAF weekend Duke Energy released enough water to fill the run. Thanks to Duke Energy for the water and to the US Forest Service, Endless River Adventures and NOC staff for helping to organize the event and run shuttles.

Man, red and black perception guy beatered every rapid!
Horns at 4:37 and Kahuna at 9:49. Parts of this were hard to watch.
