This is how small i do my mini twists. This is such an amazing style. I take mine out there don’t loc but hands down my favorite protective style.

@@queque5williams748 3 - 6 weeks no locing. Hair that needs to be trimmed tangles a lot more and is prone to locing so you gotta make sure you stay on top of trims when u do this style (if ur afraid of locing).

@@wilieshawest9119 It’s been great! I’ve had microlocs two times before and each time I maintained them myself. With the proper tool, it can be super easy!

I literally just came upon this video yesterday. I then already purchased the hair using the link today, I can’t wait to do them.
I had instant locs but I damage them from dye so I cut all my dreads off after losing ten of them and the rest just getting thin over time. I’m glad I found this to do with the remaining hair I have so I could get my confidence back! Thank you so much❤

You don't know how happy I am watching this, people were hoarding the detail of how it is made, despite they were not in an accessible location were we could patronize them. I have a question though. Is it a temporary loc? Cause that's been my fear, they say it's permanent and my hair will be cut when I'm tired of the locs.
It's permanent, but you can make it a temporary style if you don't interlock your roots. You can also start this style out with a braid instead of crocheting the hair into your hair, and then you can twist the hair.
Interlocking your roots does not make this style permanent. You can comb out interlocking just like any other knot in your hair. That’s a fact because I’ve done it. Secondly if you add the hair at the end of the “braid” you run into the possibility of slippage and the extensions falling off after washing. This style is intended to be permanent but can be combed out just like natural locs.
No style is technically permanent because it can all be combed out. But this style is intended to be permanent which is why it is commonly said it’s a permanent style.

Is this done by double twisting (Sinagalese) or just two strand twist?
Love this! Is it braided at the top and then twisted. Will this affect the way the hair locs? Will there be 2 lock patterns. Never seen loc extensions done this way, but i am interested. I tried loc extentions before but the extentions were to heavy for my fine hair and caused breakage. You did an awesome job!!

This is so beautiful. Question: why did you choose to use 10 inches and add on hair instead of just using longer hair? Is that something that you recommend to do?
My client requests the length and that’s what I get. I only add hair that comes up shorter than the rest

WOW thank you very much ! I have a question please sister, i tried to do it on the head of my friend but the second extention i added to the ends were removed i don't know why
I assume my removed that means it fell out.
Try adding the hair in sooner, before the ends start to thin out to give it a little more length to hold on to

You can remove them by just untwisting the hair and combing out the roots.

As the hair grows ..is it a possibility that the base wrong be strong enough for the loc resulting in damage sis? I'm thinking about doing extensions cause my shrinkage is going to be really but I also have medium fine hair
The only way the hair would cause thinning is if the extensions was greater than the amount of hair in the part. Mine are proportionate so no thinning will occur.

Beautiful! Just curious, when you crochet the hair in, do you braid it down with the real hair then twist or are you crocheting the hair and two strand twisting (from base) with her real hair?
The hair is braided with the real hair and then twisted with the real hair

Hi, I didn’t hear any talking or steps in the video. Are you braiding the hair down some first, then crochet the human extensions in? I think I seen that much but then I got lost after. after it’s crochet do you braid it with the real hair braided already then just start twisting?
The hair is crocheted at the root, braided a few times, then twisted the rest of the way down.
Can you leave these in forever just get a retie

No you won’t. They are permanent

This is permanent or can be taken down like a regular twist braid? Does the hair break off because of how tiny they are? At what month can one remove the added hair and untwist it and wear it as regular locks?
This hairstyle will naturally loc the same way natural hair does. It’s not meant to take out but you can cut overtime if you only want to keep them until your real hair gets longer.

when you add pieces to the twists do you find that that point of adding is weaker or comes out, cuz that be happening to me even when in braid it in
If that’s the case then you need to try to braid tighter. Loose braids and twists have a weak spot
Wow, her hair looks fabulous. I've been wanting microlocks so bad but my edges are thin from biopsies and 2 rounds of chemo years ago, they just are filling in. You jave majic hands. I was just qonderimg though, why did you crotchet some of them? 🤷🏽♀️
So I use a crochet hook to take the hair through the roots so it will loc with the natural hair better than just adding it to the ends.

This method looks faster, but is the transition process longer with this method since it's being crocheted in?
My clients are not looking to transition. This is their permanent style so I cannot say whether the process is longer or not

When you make the loc longer are you adding the hair by braiding it on the end then twisting or are you adding more on by twisting.

How do you keep the extension hair straight? When I pull it from my bundle it doesn’t stay like that and I see a lot of wasted hair when I’m done or trying to piece hair together
I roll it in my palms to make the hair clump together. And as far as waters hair it may happen but I don’t do anything to preserve or prevent it.

Great job. However, amazon reviews state this hair is synthetic
that may have been true for them but myself, we have not gotten a batch where there was synthetic fibers. I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but my own.

how long before the first wash? and do you need to bundle to wash? can you put product like braid and loc spray for freshness?
You can wash whatever you feel your hair is dirty, no need to bundle but be gentle just like your natural hair, you can use sprays but nothing thick to avoid build up

You can use whatever you want and this is a permanent style so I did interlock
