It is a pity that so little of Boismortiers over 100 op. is performed and recorded since much of it is in a very high quality indeed. Very often interesting and catchy themes with good harmony and counterpoint. It´s a goldmine. This perfomance is just wonderful and really makes the music justice. I hope the coughing monsters gets severely punished. Thanks a lot!
The Danish humourist, Robert Storm Petersen (1882-1949), expressed his dislike in this way: "People with bad coughs ought to visit a doctor, instead of visiting a concert hall!". (Originally: "Folk med hoste burde gå til læge, i stedet for til koncert!")

The flute which the girl with the dark hair is playing looks like it's made of African Blackwood which is a critically endangered tropical hardwood.Musical intsruments shouldn't be made of this type of wood.

it is considered "near threatened".
Could also totally be ebony, or many other types of wood - hard to tell unless you have seen it first hand.
Wood resources can also be managed (replanted), pieces of wood could be cut since very long too, so many possible cases indeed.
I'm not sure baroque flute carving is the root cause of any hard wood disappearance, or is it?
