As someone who’s been struggling with putting together even the most basic video, mostly out of fear of failure and lack of editing software knowledge, this video really motivated me to get the shots done at least. Then what, start small with an edit? Build up the knowledge of the software and then expand.
Yeah man just start my plugging in clips on any software. If you have a Mac start in iMovie

If you ever plan to go to Panama to do any kind of video, I own a Canon C200, and 2 DSLR canon 70D and 80D., all you would need is some Cfast cards and SDs and maybe your favorite lenses, lol. Look me up!

Really great tips again man! Another good tip I've heard for focusing on yourself is to take the camera off the tripod, stand wherever you're gonna be in the shot, and then focus on the tripod from there. I've tried it out a couple times and it definitely seems to work!

Totally agree on focus being the hardest part! I love filming with Canon camera's just cause of the Dual-Pixel (when filming myself) but switched to a GH5 so manual focus it is!
