one time I opened the frigde looking for food as one does, and my mom and sister walked in and I thought to myself
"I should go." But I was still looking for food and didn't. A few seconds later my mom "asks" (Like when parents ask you to do something but if you don't or say no you get in HUGE trouble.) me to help my sister do something with her comfoter (the bed thing.) Anyways my 13 yo brain had a not a great idea of what to do so I complained and was forced to do it anyways. Turned out a mess my sister barely helped and my mom got mad cause I didn't do it right!!

Yeah that’s a good rule for some dogs but sometimes dogs don’t like certain people for other reasons.
Some dogs have had past abuse and hate people who fit their previous owners description. Some dogs are just scared and don’t socialize with people a lot. Sometimes they’re just in a bad mood. Just wanted to clarify that you shouldn’t just straight up not associate with someone because a dog doesn’t like them because dogs are just as diverse as people and aren’t some lie detecting machines. My own dog has been in a grumpy mood before and growled at people he loves just because he was tired, hungry, etc.

Maybe he thought, “Since there are multiple people using the printers, no one will be able to tell who printed it!” The thing is teachers have to sign in to print off stuff, make copies, etc., so it’s easy to see who was logged in at what time and place, and he’s still an idiot. Source: My parents and my aunt were all teachers. My Dad retired when I was very young, but my mom and my aunt used to talk about having to sign in to print/copy anything from the communal printer and copier because the school didn’t want teachers to exploit school resources (Otherwise a teacher could use up all the ink printing off flyers for their garage sale or whatever). This was in the 1990s, but I’d say the sign-in system is still used in schools.

Girl I went out with about 10 years ago. She made a comment in passing about hanging out with her other guy friends. Something about the way she said it gave me the impression she was dating multiple guys, but I had known her for a few months at that point and didn't believe she was dating anyone else, so I decided to ignore it. Sadly (or in hindsight thankfully) the relationship didn't really go anywhere after that.
Flash forward about a year, and I hadn't seen or talked to her in nearly 6 months. Then one day she shows up at the store I'm working at, and I see and hear her talking to one of my coworkers. They clearly know each other, and are somewhat flirty, but it's clear he's not interested. After she leaves, I go up to him and ask him "Hey, was that ____?" He replied "Yeah."
I say: "I know it's none of my business, but did you two used to date?"
I'll never forget his response. He stopped what he was doing, turned and stared at me for a few seconds, then said: "Oh god, not you too."
Turns out my intuition was right, and she _was_ dating multiple guys at the same time. When I had asked her out, she was already dating my coworker, as well as a few other guys.

He always was eye balling my little (half) sister and I never felt comfortable with it. Tried talking to my dad about it but he said I was just trying to start something and to drop it. • @ARedMagicMarker
      @ARedMagicMarker Před 2 lety +58

I too am the vibe checker. I haven't been through too many real life horrors, but I know of so many others who have, and I've had this intuition about people since I was a child. Everyone "feels" different. Most people just feel neutral. Some people feel gritty, some greasy, some soggy, come clean, some bright, some dirty, and some are just pure spine-tingling, neck prickling, GTFO. The latter really doesn't like people like you or me telling others to stay away from them, because that means they can't partake in their evil natures with their prey, or supply. Or at least it's going to be more difficult for them. Evil people also have a sixth sense on who is telling others about them, and telling other to stay away, so I've had a few run-ins with these evil people. Some vibe checkers have died in their rages, because the evil person was deprived or their opportunity. And in their mind, no one has a right to do that to them, even if you are trying to protect your family. They don't care. They don't see people as people, just supply.

But wouldn't they know that they are gay on some level tho? Like for them to think they are straight they must be in some serious denial but still on some level know. I just can't imagine a gay person being straight well into adulthood and then just one day they are gay all of a sudden. You can't change your sexual orientation from one day to another lol. It must be denial. There's no other explanation. Like attraction isn't only about sex. So you will start to realise even in middle school what your sexuality is even tho you are not even ready for sex. So I don't really get how some gay people can be like "I didn't find out I was gay untill I had sex with the same gender". Like bro... You knew.... C'mon now don't lie. If you get butterflies in the tummy from being around a person that is what sexuality is before it leads to sex.

He was extra emotional and extra "loving" of God and Jesus... and I could read through all the bullshit. This was 1000% meant to tug on the heart strings of the members. The harder he went, the higher my bullshit detector was going off.
I could tell afterwards people were really taken aback by it, but my bullshit detector was not gonna stop until I left. Anyways, he ended up taking the position and turned this not very political or really telling people how to live their lives, to a complete sexist, political, no joy whatsoever church. Just about everyone not directly related to the pastor stopped going. He stopped the band, he told a girl who used the church to help her overcome her sexual assault to not talk about the assault, and he told my girlfriend who had gone for 20 years that she wasn't a member until she read and signed stuff.

I was watching the show 60 Minutes sometime during the mid or late 1990's where he was giving an interview. The interviewer's final question [as best as I can recall these details] was "Some people say you're the funniest person alive; what do you have to say about that?". And he goes from super upbeat to a more reserved tone as he replied something along the lines of "you show me the happiest person in the world, and I'll show you someone with real problems" and he smile fell just a little.
I knew right then that he wasn't going to die peacefully in his sleep; I didn't think he would die the way he did, I thought it would be something rare or a freak accident, like a bungee cord snapping or a roller-coaster related accident.

Maybe I just didn’t appreciate his humor, for example, one time in class I was having an allergy problem and I took a deep breath through my mouth because my nose was stuffed up. It was during a quiet work time so I could be heard clearly. He asked me “is breathing required at school?
    Why would someone ask that?
Something else that freaked me out is that during work times, he would just pace the classroom with a giant bag of almonds and crunch on the almonds the whole time.
So far I haven’t heard anything bad about him but he always freaked me out. Close to the end of the school year I think he finally figured out I didn’t appreciate his humor and made it his mission to make me laugh.

When I was in boot camp(USN), there was a socially awkward guy from Texas (I’m from TX too). We’ll call him “Jack.” My friends and I befriended Jack in the hopes of helping him becoming more sociable and way less awkward. After we got out of boot camp we all ended up at the same base for our next phase of training specific to our career paths, my friends and I invited Jack out with us and even bought him some more updated/fashionable clothes. No matter how much progress he made in terms of social interactions, there was always an X factor we couldn’t nail down. We all ended up going our separate ways in our military careers and we lost touch with Jack.
I eventually ended up becoming a police officer 18yrs after I left the Navy in a city that most in the US would consider the middle of nowhere (near San Antonio, TX). During my initial training with that agency, I got dispatched to a disturbance call and I immediately recognized the primary actor as Jack but he doesn’t recognize me. I get his name/dob and confirm that he’s the same dude I went to boot camp with. He’s very obviously a meth addict now too. As soon as I ran his information on my in-car terminal, I get audible alerts that he is a registered sex offender. Well, I hate rapists and pedo’s, so I decide to f**k with him. I start telling him details about his past (specific to our shared experiences in the military). The guy starts getting super paranoid, begins freaking out, and literally accuses me of being some sort of wizard. Before he had an aneurysm, I tell him I went to boot camp with him (didn’t give him my name though). Then, I told him I guess he was so awkward back then because the kidf**ker in him was just waiting to get out. I told him to STFU, go inside, and leave his neighbors alone; or, I’d be arresting him for every minor offense just for him continuing to exist. I went back to the office and looked up his case. The POS diddled two girls, 7 and 9 years old. Like other peace officers, I don’t fantasize about taking life but I can unquestionably affirm that I would not get any PTSD about ending “Jack.” Thankfully, we locked him back up for quite a while for violating his sex offender registry terms and a few other felony offenses, including assaulting public servants. Oh yeah, he was also a sovcit and, like most sovcits, repeatedly demonstrated that he knew precisely d*ck about his rights, the law, and the code of criminal procedure. I hope he gets the same class of abuse in prison that he forced on those little girls.

yeah false rape accusations are like super rare and actual rape victims reporting rapes is rare enough so if someone came out and said they'd been raped, i'd believe them first and ask questions later. We live in such a patriarchal society that rapists hardly ever get locked up for long enough if they go to prison at all (especially white ones). Look at Brock Turner, Nicholas Fifeild, Austin James Wilkerson, Bill Cosby ect. But I do agree with you that false rape accusations are awful because they're so disrespectful to actual sexual assault victims and could potentially ruin an innocent person's image. I don't understand why people keep focusing on this instead of doing something about rape and sexual assault since false accusations are so rare and sexual assault is so common?? it just feels like another way to demonize women and try to push the blame on them for rape, which honestly i'm sick of. rape is inherently a men's issue and women need to stop taking the blame for it. it's always "don't stay out too late" or "always carry pepper spray" or "don't leave your drink uncovered" not "men, don't rape"

@@scooberdoober1969 Most false rape accusation tend to be resolved outside of court because they are either blatantly obvious or they accused has tons of evidence to refute it, the police even encourage to keep this away from court. That's why there are not many real statistics about it, but most guys know someone that has been accused or sometimes they have been accused themselves. False accusations are not rare at all, what is rare is an open accusation to the legal system as the false accusers tend to try and keep it within the social sphere of influence of both her and her victim to maximize the damage, the moment it gets so big that the police gets involved it all falls apart but the accused has already lost their jobs, friends, opportunities, etc.
Rape stems from poor education, mental instability and poor response from security forces. In one of these videos there was this guy who in excruciating detail described how he wanted to rape but didn't just because he was afraid of the police, that he thought they were competent enough to find him swiftly. There are evil people everywhere, most have enough self control to behave in a civilized manner, others need to know they won't get away with it to stop them from committing a crime, a select few just don't care. This guy cared, and he was very very clear that if the opportunity suddenly came to him on its own he would take it.
That's why they tell you those things like "don't leave your drink uncovered" or "don't walk around this area at night" etc. If you blow air into your neck with a stack of $100 bills while carrying jewelry and walking down the bad part of town, you are just giving those evil people the opportunity they wish for. It is not your fault and it is not right for you to get robbed but you could have avoided it in many ways.

@@Mylity66 I'm sorry but that last part made literally no sense. Telling people to fight when they're attacked is just kinda common sense?? like?? and most people who are raped are done so by people they know not just random junkies stumbling around at 3 am. And you also kinda proved my point with the victim blaming you just did. If woman goes outside in a sketchy area late at night in an outfit that sister mary annette would definently not approve of and gets kidnapped or whatever it's her fault, right?? No. It's not. People should be able to go outside whenever the hell they want wearing whatever the hell they want and not have to fear for their safety. And my whole point was we keep setting expectations for women on how to avoid rape without actually confronting the issue, which is men. We need to stop teaching girls how to defend themselves and start teaching boys not to rape instead. Like they expect women to like become supernatural or develop a sixth sense or some shit with how they expect us to avoid rape.
The thing about "not many false accusations are reported" is kinda pointless considering that actual sexual assault victims hardly ever report what happened to them either. Which is due to how horrendously rape cases are handled by the justice system (go back to victim blaming and all the examples i listed of men who raped and were let off with little to no time; just look at Bill Cosby since everyone's talking about that rn and he's literally a serial rapist) And if the false accusations aren't reported to the police, then it would still suck but not leave a lasting impact on the accused's life. It wouldn't show up on their record or anything.

I usually never had a bad gut feeling about them because I was only a little infant when I saw most of them.
But then she introduced us to her new boyfriend, let's call him Max.
The friend kept telling us about how Max apparently is a wealthy loving man with fairly good looks and had already traveled to several countries etc., he was basically 'perfect'.
I kid you not the second this man stepped into my room, I had a horrible gut feeling about him and I immediately wanted him out of my room. He kept acting kind and smiling but I knew his smile was just show, I knew it from the start.
Everyone of my family loved him, except my grandma and I, we both had the same gut feeling.
Later it turns out this guy was a sociopath who had mentally abused my mother's friend and almost got physically abusive, he never helped her with anything even when she was pregnant and obviously couldn't do certain things such as building the furniture at their new apartment, she always had to do the dirty work.
He also made her move far away from her parents and sister, and manipulated into her thinking that her family hates her, and that they don't need her.
He also had a wife and two kids before her and guess who divorced who first? The ex-wife; and even the children don't want to have any contact with him anymore.
It also turned out that he wasn't wealthy at all and was around 80.000 € in debt to his boss, who fired him months later because he never paid it back.

I had a feeling someone at work was stealing diesel by the hundreds of gallons. I set up a makeshift camera to record the fuel dump tanks. Sure enough, the guy I suspected was stealing diesel. His pickup truck bed was always covered with a hard cover. He would come into work with the truck sitting level. When he would leave, it was pushed down on the rear axle a bit. Fuel expense numbers were always off and the company was paying a lot in fuel. After setting up the camera, I left it there one week. The guy, in question, would drive up, open the tail gate, attach the fill hose to a valve on a tank on the back of his pickup truck and full up a huge tank he had on the cargo bed of the pickup truck, hidden under the hard cover. I have no idea where he put that much fuel. He did this three times a week. I gave the camera and recording to the day shift manager and the diesel thief was removed from the property by the police and his pickup truck was impounded the following day. I do not know what happened to the diesel thief. But given he was removed in had cuffs and his pickup truck was impounded, it is likely he is doing prision time today. This was all because the guy did not buy leveling springs for his weak pickup truck to keep it level with a load of diesel. If he had a better suspension, the pickup truck would have never been sunk down on the back axle.

I have one that is pretty similar to some mentioned in this video.
When I was a kid, I had this uncanny, almost supernatural ability to just know if a person was "good" or "bad". Even complete strangers, just one glance and little kid me knew if I could trust that person or not.
The best example of this was when I was probably five years old, my family and I lived in a complex of townhouses. The complex hired independent lawn care companies to service the yards of the houses. One day I was playing in the front room when a new, clean and good looking young man showed up in front of our house to mow our lawn and trim etc. He looked respectable, early 20's at the most, clean cut, fresh shaved, wasn't dressed sloppy, overall looked very professional and just seemed to be a very upstanding young man. I had never seen him before and had no interactions with him, but the first time I saw him outside our window, I became terrified and ran to the back of the house to hide, crying uncontrollably. My mom and sisters tried to calm me down and assure me everything was fine, that he wasn't dangerous and he was just here to mow the lawn. The noise of his machines didn't bother me, I was used to it, and I didn't have a habit of being scared of random strangers, unless I sensed something about them, there was just something about this young man that struck absolute horror in me for no reason I could explain.
When he finished with the front yard, he appeared in the back yard, right outside the sliding glass door I was hiding near. As soon as I saw him again, I began crying harder and bolted to the front of the house, still completely terrified of him. My family had no idea what to do with me and it wasn't until several minutes after the young man had left that I finally began to calm down and relax. A few days later, mom came to me, sat me down and asked I remembered the young man who cut our grass that I was scared of. I became nervous at just the mention of him and nodded my head. My mom then explained to me that I was right, the man had been fired from his job and arrested, but she refused to tell me why. To this day, about 30 years later, I still have no idea what he did, all I know is that it was bad. Really bad, as my family never told me.

I also had a feeling that my ex best friend was off but i knew she was autistic so I didn't think much of it. we were friends for about 3 years until some of our newer friends started to tell me she was saying very sexual things to them and making them extremely uncomfortable. one of my friends told me very specifically that exbest friend told her " you look like a kawaii little hentai character that needs to be pegged". And let me tell you. I am a very loyal friend and I had no issues protecting her from her crazy exboyfriends bc she had bad taste in men. but when she started to do shit like that to anyone especially out mutual friends (about 9 people she verbally or physically violated) I took it for the team and yeeted her out of our friendgroup. and since I'm a year older than my friends who are still in highschool but I'm college, they told me something was going on with her so I did some digging. turns out she was saying a 13 y.o when she's 17 turning 18 this year. idk about other people but that's borderline pedophilic in my books. I eventually made her break up with him and the poor kid told me that she had made him feel uncomfy and that she requires alot of unnecessary attention. Back to today, I l only spoken to her once bc she tried guilt tripping me with all "the good days" and "how we used to have so much fun together" but I refuse to go back into that relationship. she barely can do her own laundry🙄. I've made sure all the people she violated somehow got their chance to express their feelings towards her and that if they needed therapy I know some resources. I told them if she does anything to you at school, we have the ability to get a restraining order bc of the physical part of exbestfriends "attack". so yeah. shit went down.

When I was like 15, I knew an old man who hung out with a group of teenagers & young adults who shared an apartment. I only knew him because one of my brothers was part of that group.
He seemed totally normal for the most part but I started to think he was a compulsive liar because he had too many interesting stories even though they were individually totally believable stories.
The incident that put the idea in my head was when he showed us a bunch old valuable coins he had & I realized he'd given us no reason to believe they were so rare & valuable & I started wondering why an old man would go so far as to bring a tub of "rare valuable" coins to an apartment full of teenagers to impress them.
For some reason, that suspicion was all it took to make me think maybe he was trying to impress teenagers so they'd respect him so he could get them into private & molest them. I always avoided associating with him after that. If we were in the same place, I wouldn't acknowledge him because I didn't want him to try to manipulate me.
I think initially, the group just naturally met him & hung out so it didn't seem so weird but eventually, some of the others started getting weird vibes about him too because he was an old man, repeatedly choosing to hang out with teenagers so he wasn't allowed over there anymore.
A few months later, we heard that he'd molested a teenage boy. His name was Kevin just like that one molester mentioned in the video so that weirded me out a little.

"You're just being overprotective", "Well, if he likes her than that's what matters", was the responses. I did everything I could to avoid her when she was around, and quickly found out that they broke up because she lied to him and lowkey cheated.
    2) "B" is the latest ex, but still from a year ago by now. She became very invasive, manipulative, and toxic. She looked through my brother's phone without permission, broke my mom's trust, and manipulated me. Now, I got this feeling when another girl came around (his current gf), I thought it was because of her, but after so much shit went down and we all cut off B, I realized my gut feeling wasn't about his current gf, it was about B and that something bad was about to happen.
The first time, I was 100% correct, I knew something wasn't right about that girl. The second time, I had the feeling, but I didn't guess correctly, and was wrong. Thankfully, I haven't had any of these moments recently.

Me and my sister absolutely cherished this guy at my sister’s job because of how wholesome he was. Always kind to people even if a little blunt, on The Spectrum, happily married to a lovely woman. All the girls at my sister’s job would constantly say how much he creeped them out because of his lack of boundaries (part of his ASD, mind you, as his special hobby was haircare and hairstyling, so he would walk up and touch peoples hair and make remarks about what product they should use in it etc.) and my sister always defended him and advocated for him and the other Autistic employees on her shift as, not only am I on The Spectrum, but her major in college is Psych so she can help kids and families with ASD. We always thought her coworkers were being ableist towards him with their comments and such, and while they definitely were ableist, they… were right. One of the younger staff members took him up on his offer to get a hair treatment at his house (he offers this to everyone who works in the store) where he assaulted her. Me and sis are still so… betrayed about it because we’ve been in his corner the whole time and I was so excited to work with him.

These are terrifying, and I watch videos discussing famous crimes (theft, occasionally, but mostly murder) during my free time. There’s nothing scarier than a normal seeming person who turns out to be so horrible
(Well, our inevitable and inescapable deaths, spiders, and your friends leaving you age replacing you with someone else maybe. Still, this is terrifying.)

So, my mom dated this dude, Eddy, I fucking hated him, not sure why. When I first met him I had a breakdown and couldn't breathe, I was maybe 5 at the time. Maybe two months later they broke up. We went over to his apartment for my mom to get her stuff, he tried to help, and she freaked out, told him to back up, and he didn't. Eventually, they got into a tussle. It wasn't too bad just swatting him away and stuff for a while, but eventually, she knocked this necklace he wore off of him, and he flipped out. I started crying, and just stood outside the apartment as this massive dude was choking my mom. Eventually, the neighbor came out and called the cops, my mom had to stay in jail for a few days. When she came back she told us (Me, my dad, and my brother) that he had been hitting, and raping her all this time.

Gut instincts are always best to be listened to, not ignored. Those instincts might just save your life.
This one's my mom's story, but she has told me it many times. I was a baby at the time in a stroller. My mom, older sister, and I were at a gas station (though I wouldn't remember that) where my mom saw two men that literally screamed pure evil and they zeroed in on my older sister who was 8 at the time. My mom latched onto my sister's arm and had a death grip. (No she was not hurting my sister, just not letting go of her for fear those two would snatch my sister) At first, both men barely acknowledged anyone else, but when they noticed my mom had an iron grip and would go full momma bear on them they backed off. They probably also didn't want to cause a scene in the middle of the gas station. When it was clear they would not get my sister they left and waited in the parking lot, but my mom refused to leave till they drove away. No way was she taking a risk of them ambushing her with my older sister and me so close. Eventually, they gave up and drove off Later my mom saw that the one man was on the news Frank Atwood was convicted for killing Viki Lynne, my mom tried to phone the cops and tell them he had a friend and they needed to look for an accomplice, but she was told by police: 'They didn't care what happened before the crime, only after' I while no more than a baby told my mom she should have asked to speak to someone with actual intelligence because the cops were basically saying to her that they didn't care that another killer was out there. Sadly each year my mom is reminded on my sister's birthday that Viki Lynne would be the same age had she lived, and it could have easily been my sister had my mom ignored that gut instinct. Never ignore the gut instinct!

Man this was a really good video. Got to remember to trust my instincts, but feelings. They're there for a reason.

I’ve had a male coworker who also loved to make it known he was gay but loved to grope and touch on me. He came behind me and gave me a back hug with his arms locked under my boobs and began to bounce up and down with his bulge on my butt and when confronted he said he was “gay” and “being friendly”, so it wasn’t a problem. He didn’t respect boundaries and used his sexuality to sexually assault his coworkers and friends. He was fired respectfully.

This gut feeling I had was about a former friend that I realized YEARS too late because my neurodivergent ass refused to believe that he was a terrible person. For once I wanted it to be wrong, but as of recently when new, younger, workers came on board, the cycle started all over again. I saw what he was doing to them, and they reflected deeply into what he did to me over the years. Needless to say,I stopped giving him friendship and attention.

The girl in the story at 8:00 is named Nicole. I was with her for 3 years and even engaged. She pulled this shit with me, with the guy before me, and every guy going back to high school. She is now married and I’m sure still doing the same thing to her current husband. The weird thing about the guy she has on the side, named Ronnie, is that every single guy Nicole has ever been with could kick the living shit out of him but doesn’t because we feel bad for him.
My greatest dream is to run into Ronnie in a situation where it would be legally acceptable to kick his ass and put him in the ICU. I left Nicole in July 2018.

I was in band in middle school. We got a new teacher very early into Seventh grade. He looked weird, his eyes felt wrong. No-one liked him either. His presence was genuinely uncomfortable. Before he even spoke, my friend and I were like "this man is a pedophile". For a few months, each class in each grade dealt with those off feelings. He called kids "sweetie", "babe", and "baby" too, which did nothing to help our collective paranoia.
Around 3 or 4 months into the school year, he was arrested on statutory rape charges from a previous school he had taught at.
No student at my school was hurt by him, and we actually all kind of found it funny. Because we knew it. It was so painfully obvious he was a pedophile from the moment he started out. No-one knew why it was, but it was. None of the teachers suspected it, which further increased the hilarity of the situation. A gaggle of pre-teens and teens reading a man like a book.
I'm honestly glad he was arrested. Our next teacher was a lot nicer, if strict.

That Father Matt story is shockingly reminiscent of my school. I don’t think there are alter boys in any grade but maybe they cancelled it after that. I think there might be a bilingual mass available.
My school has fliers with numbers of people and groups you can contact if you’ve been abused by a member of the church. 0_0
