I did'nt think any one team cheated more than when Jimmy Johnson drove the Lowes 48 car, looking back

Calling out nascar is like calling out the government, you’re not going to win no matter what.

I’m not a Hamlin fan, but when he calls out the same people I’m calling out, I’d say we’re friends. Jim should have been there. It’s a bad look for an organization that doesn’t understand how many bad looks they have given themselves over the last number of years. They know better than that.

I want NASCAR to return to actual "stockcars", from the showroom floor, with 850HP, four wheels, and an actual American manufacturer (Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Buick), and a roll cage. No EVs.
No "formula", no templates. I know nothing is actually manufactured 100% in the US .... but, I still want it.

Name 1 current factory production vehicle that has a V8 engine, 4spd manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, AND a full frame that can handle 850hp, and the speeds, forces, and collisions of a 200mph race! Even back in the 60s, such vehicles were 'ringers', models which were mostly available to racers or race teams that also owned dealerships.

Nascar doesnt want charters permanently jim france said him self doesn't want charters permanently he doesn't support it because it makes it more hard for people to come into sport and own a team

Hamlin blowing his mouth off is nothing new. What everyone seems to forget is Bill France SR set the NASCAR model up as a dictatorship. If Hamlin and others feel they could do better, let them go elsewhere.NASCAR has a bigger problem with the product. The super speedway racing is disgaceful. Their short track package is in dire need of more horsepower.....Mr. France has higher priority issues than dealing with the owners.

No--Daytona has been perpetually ruined by shoving and pushing. Look back at the 1988-Daytona 500 that was won by Bobby Allison. There was passing and cars could break out of the draft and there was still passing. I have watched this race many times on youtube. Back in the 80's the star of the show was the show itself. NASCAR --because of bump drafting---on a super speedway is dictated by crashing now. As someone who's spent the better part of 30 plus years working on race cars and covering short track racing........crashing and banging is certainly a part of it I dont like to see cars get trashed. It is not always necessary. I would rather see a finish where there are fewer 'big ones,.' I followed the sport since I was about 6 and France and Kennedy doesn't care about my demographic or anyone else that has been a long time fan. screw us in favor of bringing in the 18-34 demographic.

I liked that Lagano story. Did anyone hear something about NASCAR looking into Last weeks race and the cup drivers not running at 100% or not full throttle. I wana say there was an article I seen yesterday saying they were looking into suing teams for that, but I passed up the article and can't find it now. Probably it was just click bait.

Ray Evernham is our generations version of Smokey Yunick, Banjo Matthews, Harry Hyde, or Dale Inman. I feel very lucky to have lived and watched these masters perform their magic.
I really hate to say this, but SHR may need to overhaul their entire competition department, God help that includes Zipadelli

I’m writing this with less than 10 to go at Atlanta Motor Speedway. I used to really enjoy the big tracks, but now they are horrible. This isn’t racing. These guys aren’t using talent in these plate (draft) races. I’ve heard several drivers already saying they can’t wait to get away from this type of racing. NASCAR better figure out how to change this type of racing or it will finally be such a bad watch nobody will care about watching.
