I'm sad I'll never get to see a sequel to this masterpiece
lol ... Masterpiece... This movie was mediocre as hell.
👍
@@WildfireXyet you still here watchin a clip
@@WildfireX next time dont just watch the clip, kiddo
Bahahahahaha
One of the best endings of a super hero movie ever!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You said it 😊
Moral of the story: love is immortal, and true love makes us stronger, no matter what, we grow stronger even if not together, knowing that both of us is doing fine ❤
Lol what a load of crap
That was very sweet and I feel the same.
A hero is made in the moment. Not from questioning their past or doubting their future.
Thank you, Hallmark 😂
@@abeltesfaye_This does sound like something from a birthday card bro 😂
@@abeltesfaye_it's hancock
I wonder what's next for hancock
Gotta be willing to bet it all. Past, present, future.. as Clint said, "it's a hell'ova thing"
One detail I loved to have noticed after rewatching his flight to the moon, is that, at every leap Hancock did to get further from her, before the leap, his landing progressively went from chaotic to heroic.
His first landing breaking the ground. His second landing barely scratching it. And his third landing, finally reaching the superhero landing.
Damn that sountrack at the end hits me everytime
Damn bruh what a badass movie i hpe one day hollywood would bring back hancock was for me a good movie with a damn good main character
There was plans for a Hancock 2 but had to be delayed or put aside for Will Smith to spend time with his family
It's fine on it's own.
I. LOVE. THAT ENDING PART. WHEN HANCOCK PUT THAT HEART ON THE MOON 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
my favorite superhero movie
it was the 4th highest grossing movie of 2008 and made over $625M worldwide.
This was a really good superhero movie.
Man i would love to have a life like hancock.... just single flying around the world and other planets
But then again maybe Hancock would like to have a life like ours 😌
@@lilwil58 It would get tiresome or lonely eventually....
@@lilwil58 Unlikely. It's like an ordinary person would dream of a life of a disabled person without arms and legs, vision and hearing.
By the way, I can advise the film "Chronicle" to those people who are tired of the hackneyed thought about "my gift is my curse."
@lilwil58 I'd imagine after watching all your friends kids you befriended growing old and dying, it would get lonely. what's the point of meeting people, when they are just going to die like the rest
@lilwil58 I think the majority of us as human beings grow accustomed to the things that are exciting or sought after. It's the same with cars, houses, relationships, etc. It's all fulfilling at first then it becomes ordinary or "gets old" rather. But, maybe you're in the minority...
Except now she's immortal again, he'll eventually die.. and her and Hancock will just do yet another generation.
Assuming he doesn't give himself Amnesia again like he has done several times before.
bro fr vandalised the moon
Astronauts vandalized it with footprints and flags.
@@eoinoconnor5783scalewise, it's like throwing a grain of sand at a wall
@@blastbottlesfrankly there’s nothing stopping Handcock from fixing the moon. Plus the moon as its own circular orbit as well.
Curious fact : The moon doesn't have an owner, there is a decrete that states that the moon is public land, and anyone that is able to go there can do whatever they want there.
This could have been the start of another powerful Superhero franchise. Dude's literally powerful than Superman
One of the best superhero movie.
The music at 2:15 is beyond perfect
Wonder how he carried such a huge amount of red paint up to the moon
he culd use just martian dust he grabed some cargo wagon or sea contener filled with dust and going betwen moon and mars
@@renamon303 my man, do you know how much longer it would take to fly from Moon to Mars rather than to Earth?
@@sweetwafer6099 and do we know how fast hancock is ? he may hold back while flying to not fly fast like omniman if hancock can move with constant g1 acceleration then he can reach jupiter in 3 days
@@renamon303 yeah, but why not take the red stuff from the Earth.
Definitely a unique super hero movie. Sounds like the sequel might be happening after all
I never took it as him flying to the moon. He was just getting out of town, and the moon happened to be in front of where he was going.
He literally went to the moon and painted or whatever a heart on it. He obviously came back though.
He went to the moon because he didnt have time to guess what the maximum distance he needed to put between himself and Mary so he just left Earth entirely just to be sure.
That was one of the greatest movies an all ways will be an that's all he needed was someone to show him the way an I'll be dam he's one of the most respected super heroes I think
Of the way a Champion really looks like.
basically black superman
In a GREAT adaptation.
That's Meteor Man. This is more like a Black Super Deadpool.
Not at all
2:39 Hancock goes ludicrous speed!
That last piece of music just picks me up.
Wait what happened to her?
@@JustFost0203as Hancock put distance between himself and her, she regained her healing powers.
@@JustFost0203they’re basically like super beings whose were made in pairs. Whenever you’re physically close to your other half you both become mortal & lose powers. He had to get away from her so she can regain her powers and heal before she died.
Am I the only weirdo listening to this epic music? 1:49
So…. Who gets to clean up that mess on the moon?
its destiny that them 2 were made for each other. but what's more intriguing is that destiny put a human with a god to make a hero.
100% sure banner can't outjump hancock 🤪
That poor bus driver
wish there was Hancock 2 or another Avengers movie with him joining the fight
Unpopular take...this movie is about a selfish girl who wishes to be immortal and chooses to harm anyone who comes on its way. Even deciding for others at the cost of hurting them
In the Southern Hemisphere (South America, Most of Africa, Austraila, etc.), they see a giant red A$$ painted on the moon. Great Movie, though!!
3:52 nice 👍 man
the true hero is the one who made all that million of gallons of paint
Isn’t she just going to never age? And couldn’t she have put the heart on the moon herself?
Her powers were a secret up to that point
Hannock only went to the moon to make sure his and Mary's immortality would kick in and he stayed thier a for awhile until he was sure she had recovered.
Hannock putting heart on the moon was basically both a thank you and a prank on Mary's husband since Hannock knew he'd been struggling to promote the symbol and now he's literally given the whole planet no option to ignore it.
anyone noticed that a car was about to intentionally run over hancock? xd
Probably couldn't see him. He's got mother nature's natural night camouflage on.

NEW YORK
Hancock walking running and jumping to get as far away as possible while that score swells fucking superhero shit
I didn't understand one thing.
Do they have to be emotionally seperate or physically? Cuz when they were fighting earlier they were in physical contact but not weakened one bit.
Also that heart on the moon is fcking bigger than asia on earth I think, Comparatively. Dunno how long it took Hancock to actually do that
They have to be physically close for an extended period of time. They hadn’t be close enough both exerting power when they had the original fights but had been by the end of the film it ultimately doesn’t take long. Also the screen said a month had passed between his escape and the phone-call & when he flew away he looked as if he was heading to the moon & I suppose you can’t get much further away so I’m guessing he was there the full month. Though idk how he got oxygen if he actually needs it or food, water Etc 😅 🤷🏻♂️
To become the President, one brand must first travel behind the Past, behold the present, and beyond the prescient.
For a portion of the US population, lying, cheating and spreading hate seem to be enough.
so the mom will outlive her husband and maybe child? She also kissed her god husband and never addressed it with her husband which never shook right with me. I think The mom in this movie sucks as a character. She abandons her husband with memory issues and instead of explaining it hurts everyone around her. What happens in 50 years when her husband is dead and her child is years older than her? The only dumb part.
I mean that’s the curse of immortality. Honestly it’s good that she can still feel love for other people after all this time.
This needs a prequel about the pairing up and dying.
It would be cool to see flashbacks of them when they were attacked in 4BC, 1850 and 80 years prior.
Heroes arnt born....theyre made.
That kid must have Godly abilities too
They should have had him flying side by side with the eagle
Moral of the story : women will alway prefer stability to passionate love, and passionate men will always find their emancipation into going for some crazy and dangerous adventure 😂😂
Maybe a sequel here could be part of the Will Smith redemption story?
Puma… you’ll jump to the moon
Literally black superman

RRRAAUUUUUUUUUUURAAAA
So they're not God's per say, or they're based of Hera and Zeus, but the question is who made them have that insurance policy that they become human when they fall in "love"?
Great video clips, but I can't stand the outro music. What is this the 70s?
So what's the plan, she's gonna be with the dude till.. he died? while she doesn't age. Then look after his kid for a bit, maybe. Then what, they are immortals.
AND. MARY DOES. BELONG IN THIS. MOVIE. WITH. HANCOCK SHES JUST AS A CHARACTER IS ANY BODY ELSE IS REALLY WHAT EVER NAME NAME REALLY IS 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I know this is a superhero movie and it’s meant to be a little ridiculous but WHAT THE FUCK? That big red heart is the size of Europe. All the red paint in the world wouldn’t be enough to do that. Even if it were did he steal it all? Trillions of dollars worth. Maybe he took a bunch of red rocks from mars and arranged them into a heart. But he would have to transport them one Handful at a time. Even traveling at light speed that would take centuries going there and back. Centuries spent not fighting crime. Maybe he learned he has laser vision and burned it into the moon? But then it would be black not red right? This scene is fuckn’ nuts.
Pretty much a movie about a superhero going threw AA 😂
two spells. caucasian woman/african man. and flying to the moon. the moon can not be flown to.
Agreed. Then we have “Ray” the white male ‘husband’ character aka Public relations manager and handler/ AA sponsor aka the sun/son/father ray🌞 who subliminally spares them all. Hancock signed a will and nonverbal “contract” to be single or they all are sacrificed (the white family and him and the little boys dreams, Ray’s son idea of heroism). Handcock/Will has to keep his distance for all of this to work. Can you say invisible restraining order aka black “male”. ?
Symbolized message: love you-to the moon ❤but can’t go back to Black. The black onsie suit symbolizes death. He has to remain isolated and obscured which makes the ‘first family rich’ while he flies around doing all the hidden work. 🌚 It’s in his John Hand cock. 👋
Cheers 🥂
lmao
Deage will and put him vs brightburn.
Other than that I'm not interested.
Can't even Will Smith as a hero after hearing Jada ...n of course...the Chris Rock slap!!
And she said she was stronger.
Women...
An example of how a good film turns crap when the woman enters the room.
Leave it up to the black superhero to graffiti up the moon.
You take the superhero out of the ghetto but...
Hancock (2008) ‒ The story of a powerful transcendental love being flushed down the toilet
The movie is a revolutionary masterpiece that pushed boundaries and challenged societal norms as it redefined the concept of love. When two people love each other, nothing is more important than her happiness. If you're a woman, you deserve _everything._ Not just: money, acceptance, understanding, love and happiness. You deserve more. You deserve to be worshiped like the goddess that you are. You have one responsibility in life, to know that you are a goddess. Don't think you are! Know you are! If you're a man, your happiness must be defined as "that which makes _her_ happy". The more you love a woman the more you should celebrate her happiness. And, you should be happy not despite the fact that she's happy without you, but _because_ she's happy without you. Because you know you don't deserve her. But more importantly, you know she deserves better. As a man, you should be extatic if you can contribute to a woman's happiness at all. Because, as we all know, a women don't need men. Women are strong and independent.
This movie reminds me of old blackface movies. Remember those movies? Black face was used to caricature black people for comedic effect. It was how the entertainment business used to normalize and justify racism back in the day. This movie does a similar thing. Men are caricatured. Mary is a goddess.
Or, maybe the movie is not a critique of traditional gender roles. Maybe it's about some BDSM stuff. Maybe the movie is a statement that Dominant people should not be together because their "power" shines best when they are in a relationship with a submissive person.
Or, maybe it's a philosophical question. If you could choose one thing, what would you choose, power or love?
