Spurs will want to roll over against City, but if they do, theyll have to give up any chance of Champion's League. They're 7 points behind Villa with 2 games in hand - they have to take SOMETHING from City to continue to push Villa. Arteta loves re-writing the script, that's why people with comfort zone minds can't stand Mike. He literally pisses them off. The marked improvement he has brought to Arsenal doesn't sit well with most people's traditional view of the status quo And the ever so growing possibility of a premier league title is such a frightening prospect that they have nothing else to save their sanity but to keep harping at the very history that Arteta and his new enlightened breed keep tearing to shreds. People are losing sleep over this team which disregards history.
We are going into May, and why is this small Arsenal sitting on top of the log.
They were expected to have faltered at least at the beginning of April.
Arteta and his boys are defying the odds this season and handing out new literature.
      His new script includes:
      4 points from Liverpool.
      4 points from City.
City couldn't score at Ethihad for the first time in eternity.
      One tame shot on target.
In Qtr final UCL - Bayern was supposed to steamroll thru Arsenal but, well they edged us off narrowly, and we will be back.
Let those who want to be stuck in history get salty,
Arteta has new ammunition in his Arsenal ànd they come out guns blàzing.
      You ain't seen nothing YET.
      Gooners delight.

If Arsenal don't win the title, it will not be because of the loses to Villa, Fulham, and West ham, We were never in those matches to win them. We were however in a winning position against Chelsea and Spurs in the first round of matches, Raya lost those wins for us with 2 huge mistakes that got us 2 draws instead of 2 win and we lost 4 points.
Raya may be better with the ball but his positioning at time like against Chelsea is a times very for, he was beaten 2 by balls over his head because he was out of position, he also has a habit of keeping the ball in play when it's better to to just push the ball out like against Spurs where he pushed the ball back into the box and they scored letting them back in the game and getting the draw. His communication skills with the CBs and FBs is not great either, and it cost us when he and Saliba got mudled up. His poor play could have had us down against City in the first match where they could have been up 2 nil 30 seconds into the 2nd half and we would have lost that game instead of winning it.
He has made 2 mistakes in the last 4 games, and that is not good enough at this level. He has made at least 8 errors that have cost us goals this season in all competitions . He is no where near a big enough improvement over Ramsdale to justify spending 30 million plus whatever it will cost for a new backup whe we have so many other problems that are more pressing. At the end of last season, no one was thinking we had a keeper problem except Arteta.
Rayas play out from the back has been a very small part of the improvement in the club this season. The biggest improvement has been to our high press and ability to win the ball back high up the pitch and retain possession. As for the golden glove award for 6 has more to do with our back line and CDM and press. We have given up 49 shots on target , the next closest us City who have given up 69, that's 20 shots less. I can not remember an Arsenal keeper that has had less to do than him.

The real loss is losing to Aston Villa at the business end of the season, and wait for it...losing at home to them......that my friend is a big big mistake...thats when they lost the league.

So City have to lose a match for Arsenal to win the league, which means that they would definitely have to win their remaining fixtures, which I'm hoping will be the outcome. And I'm sure that they can if they don't make any more mistakes, but the main concern is City, due to their game in hand.
