    Someone bought an authentic jersey. But then they returned it for a refund. But they scammed Dicks Sporting Goods by keeping the authentic, and they put the price tag on a replica/fake. And the poor worker/s at Dicks Sporting Goods didn’t even look twice when they processed the refund.

  • @djjackson4592
    @djjackson4592 Před 2 lety +4

    If you have a tagging gun, a tag off of a real jersey, and a receipt you could easily return a fake jersey. Since most Dick’s Sports employees are not jersey experts, they would only do a quick check to see that it wasn’t worn, the tags are on, and then check the receipt. That’s a pretty simple scam. The person returning the jersey probably walked out with money or at least a store credit.

    Oversea’s bootleggers have been pedaling mitchell & ness jerseys for years. As a Philadelphian and sports fan , I used to go to the main store on Walnut St .back in the mid 1980s. Some of the jerseys I see out there now are of shockingly low quality.

    Wow Yeah 100% fake. My DSG actually has authentic M&N Michael Jordan jerseys and not fake ones. Im thinking someone had a fake, but then bought an authentic from DSG and put the tags from the authentic on the fake somehow, and then returned it to DSG. Customer Service Reps probably don’t have a clue about how an authentic should look and feel. Employees should get trained on this. DSG should investigate this but you’re right management will probably do nothing but I hope they don’t put it on the floor to be sold again.
