I always look at the sizing Tag on the bottom of the jersey. If you zoom in on the two silver linings, they should have a nike swoosh logo and "players and fans" wordings printed on them. The FAKE will just have two silver line stiches going across the tag.

What about if a specially sponsored patch doesn’t level with the Nike logo like for example the Denver nuggets jersey how it has a Western Union patch I bought a jersey that has the WU logo but it’s not lined up with the Nike logo on the right ride it’s a bit lower

It Even had the exact same number on the bottom black select tag lol. Literally letter for letter and number for number. The nba Jerry west logos were exactly like this also. I immediately hit up the vendor on eBay and got my refund immediately!! The seller Even told me to keep the jersey lmao. So I am now a proud owner of an "official" bootleg, hahahaaa. Thank you Mike !

Unfortunately, Nike connect isn't a thing anymore in more recent jerseys. I got a 21-22 Swingman GSW City Edition jersey, but I'm not sure if it's real. I guess it's quality feels good, but it could be a really great fake. Hard to tell.
I got a KD jersey 2018 GSW white one and it all looks legit but there is a plus ➕ close to s nike swoosh on the front bottom tag

To my knowledge- I've seen them pretty much the same, when I double checked my jerseys. Year to year the only real difference is where the jersey is manufactured when i looked at my 2018-2020 vs 2020-2021

I just received my swingman jersey and it has the qualities of the original one, except for one, i dont think it has the chip in nike connect coz i bought it online. Plus i dont also think that swingman jerseys have the championship count on the nape part, the authentic jerseys only have that.
The replicas do have the championship tag on the back.

Hey man, so I bought my jersey straight from Nike, and it hits all the marks except the nike patch. It has connect and the microchip but the overall look is almost the same as the fake if not identical. It’s a Jimmy Butler Miami jersey, the black one. So what’s up with that?
Thats why they are called Knock-Offs, they want to trick people into buying them and thinking its legit Nike products.
When it comes down to the quality of materials. The knock offs use really cheap materials, that are prone to breaking down. Its risky to buy them because you can get solid knockoffs or crappy quality ones. Those knock-off factories don't have any quality control and don't care about what they put out.

So in 2020, they took off the Nike connect feature. I gotta make a new video. So they don't have the Nike connect circle. If you bought it from the NBA store, then you're good.

I have a Siakam retro jersey and the only thing was off was that the microchip did not come with the jersey, and the nba logo was not beige or off white
Thats cool. The microchip is taken out for the 2021 and the Nike connect logo is gone. So maybe that. But the fakes do get better to try and get close, so just be careful.

I'm p sure my Bron jersey is fake based on the smaller font on the tag where it says "AUTHENTIC" along the NBA logo and the "+" on the NIKECONNECT logo also on the tag. I'm not sure about the Lakers logo either - the letters aren't cut out like the real deal; the white borders are thicker and between the "L " and "A" there is no cut out whatsoever.
THAT SAID, the fabric is correct, the Nike check, NBA logo, letters and numbers aren't stitched, "LAKERS" is the correct height placement on the jersey, and the purple is the right shade. So it's a lot less obvious it's fake, cost me only $50ish, and looks great.

I just got a jersey from some random store online with all the details the authentic one has even the materials are same except the nike connect feature. The price is for bootleg but the quality is the same. Must be an inside job within Nike some folks are able to get out a bunch of these jerseys.😂

Thanks for the video guys, alway looking out for these types of videos. Is there any chance you guys have encountered higher quality replicas? Seems some of these replicas are getting very close to the real deal which worries me when I try to authentic jerseys I’m looking at. Sad that the Nike connect was discontinued cause that was my main way of confirming whether a jersey was real or not. Have you seen any fakes with Nike connect working?
Actually, we had a subscriber tell us about some replica/counterfeit versions of the jersey that were looking really solid. I've actually been researching and trying to find someone who sells them. I found a lead but ill make a video for it when I actually find a good one. I haven't run across a fake that has Nike Connect work yet....

Jerseys are more special if you make it your own (customization adding your patches, accolades, etc.) even though it is FAKE vs being part of a BIG pool of followers who JUST buy a REAL Jersey and it is the same like everyone else. I rather have a fake and customize it to make it dope that no one have.
