love watching your videos but was wondering how long would you make a pully rig (weight to hook)for fishing rough/rocky ground as im going to be fishing spots that are known for taking tackle
Hi mate I’m not sure making the right any longer or any shorter would have much benefit in rocky areas as the lead is still hitting bottom you could attach a lead lift which might help you get out of a snag unfortunately it’s just one of those things when it gets stuck.
Hi mate shortest I would go is about half a foot overall. The longer your trace the more it’s going to sit off of the sea bed so you want to stick with an average really. A longer trace would cast better I’d stick to roughly the measurements in the video 👍🎣
Hi Jeremy the boat is getting done we’ve lost a portion of the fibreglassing work due to the go pro again ! but we have just been pushed back with the weather and having time to do it, in the next week or so there should be another episode out

I’d like to make up some long and short pulley rigs. What’s the shortest rig length you would go with and also the longest?
