I love it when it crackles!!!
Mercedes' V6 and Audi's on the S4 sound identical to me from an exhaust perspective. With this AWE exhaust, it confirms my original thought. My B8 S4 sounds just like this, but with the "fart" through each shift.
Does the track and touring sounds the same and the only different is no drone wth the 180 correct ? Or the track still louder?
Has to be with a tune to have that crackling and pop or is it from the stock ecu??
Vehicle is stock other than the AWE Exhaust.

the best awe exhaust system ever I heard was from B8 audi s4 non resonated... The exhaust system is not good enough to follow up with the b8 s4..

The Track Edition does not include our proprietary drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology®. The crackles on decal are purely doings of the certain software aspects -- which the 400 does not have, unfortunately.
Scott and Cates Channel Yeah I have a C400 and wondering if the BMS tune or Renntech reflash will give me those AMG crackles. Buddies GLE43 AMG does it (same engine).
AWE guys, does the touring system drone at all at highway RPMs? Just picked up a C400 and considering the touring exhaust.
did you ever figure out how to program your ECU to crackle? I got mine to do so with a simple retardation of ignition tune at my local tuner
so the AMG performance is actually standard for C450, but its optional for c43?
Which is louder the touring or track?
Track is louder in and out of the cabin. Touring Edition provides nearly the same amount of volume, but keeps it to the outside of the cabin... meaning no drone, thanks to 180 Technology®.
