I'm glad that you like them and wish you a lot of fun! 2:08 that's not the eyelet for pulling down the shades, but the emergency exit window: If the train has a crash and you cannot exit by the door, that's where you smash the window. This system allows rescue crews to break in from outside. 9:40 We decided not to install the pickups because they cause friction and will need more power to pull the train. Customers who don't use electric lights prefer not to have the electric contacts slowing down their trains.

On the electric pickups topic, i fully understand, is all between functionality or prototypical execution and anything in between from customer preference point of view. Personally i love the design and functionality of the system however I noticed significant increase in friction when all pickups are installed to the point where the "drag" is interfering with proper function of the close coupling system. I heard of bearing pickups (the tip of the axle conducts electricity and pass it onto brass bearings inside the bogie frame), a lot of locomotive models have this type of pick up and Bachmann passenger cars also use it. Hope you instal this system in LS-models!

At this point they are long sold out. The problem with models made with LS Models is that they always make them in short limited quantities. 210 евро за три вагона...А освещения нет. Зато внутри огромное количество сложной детализации,которую никто не видит. В итоге-вагон дорогой и непродуманный.

The models are superb, right. But the design of these Russian РЖД sleeping cars to my mind is obnoxioux - those giant red sweeping letrers look like painted by the gigantic brush soaked in blood. Human blood. Because many ancestors of mine were killed by Russians in the 1930s- 1940s, I can't help thinking the other way - Russia for me always means just war and blood. Sorry.
