It's uncanny how well they've managed to fuse heart tugging nostalgia with compelling drama, while also appealing to the younger generation without alienating us "old-heads". Truly a show for the whole family. Best film to TV adaptation I've seen period.

@@martinb8437 Miguel is still a good kid, he just has a lot of anger (which is justified, seeing as how his girlfriend did nothing but lie to him).Other than Robby, he showed respect for his opponents at the tournament. Robby isn't exactly as calm as you think he is, Robby is still training under Daniel just to get back at his dad (which was shown in one of the sneak peeks).

You have to be careful you don't become the very thing you are trying to fight. Daniel is always at the edge of crossing that line.
Finally someone gets it even his wife sees it plus it was his daughters friend driving that hit johnnys car and she didnt tell her parents about it .It wasn't like it was her driving if she would have mentioned it Daniel would see that Johnny isn't a bad man .Daniel never learned anything from Miyagi only the karate but none of his life lessons .Daniel has always bullied Johnny since HS and keeps doing it to present day but instead he judges Johnny and goes after him at every cost .Johnny Lawrence is trying to better himself and show kids how to defend themselves this is why all these losers excelled in the sport .Daniel is only going back to karate something he dropped once he became successful and is doing it for free lessons only out of spite to hurt Johnny again a dick move only a bully like Daniel would do just like pouring water on johnny while he was smoking a j in hs in a bathroom stall .His daughter is also selfish and going back to karate not because her dad Daniel asked her she said no but out of spite to antagonize the kid she was going out with that ended up winning the All Valley tournament seems the Larussos are vengeful type people that Mr Miyagi should've never gave lessons to .
I use to like Daniel Larusso and Mr Miyagi but now that I see how it started and how he turned out ive jumped to Johnnys side he's always been the under dog and still is .

Robbie sensi is Daniel, Daniel was sensied by Mr miagi, Go back to kerate kid Part 1.
The season 2 finale fight is genius!! everybody who were involved in making it deserve an award! I liked everything about it! the acting, the action, the dialogue, the camera angels, the coloring and especially the music! I think I watched it at least 20 times in the last two days! I think its the most exciting fight scene I have ever seen since the batman fight scene from Batman vs Superman! Oh and the moment Miguel remembers what his sensei told him to be honorable was so touching! I hate Robby for injuring Miguel!
I could not believe how GOOD this show is! They got all the pieces to make this a great story, and I love how they are inviting so many different interpretations by following more than just two of the students. Cannot wait for season two.

I think he will be next season this season I think will be spent realizing the errors of his ways. It also makes it so that Sam and Robbie can fall for each other. Leaving plenty of drama for Robbie and Miguel when he finally comes over to Miyagi-Do.
well I do find tory and hawk being most likely what you call the bad people in the story or should I say this season so he could possibly be, but the way he hit sam (not on purpose), when he shouldn't of been trying to hit Robbie who was just a guy that brought her to the party and then the way he was at the tournament I hope he can redeem himself

One of the things I loved about season one was that there was no clear cut bad guy. The lines between good and bad were blurred. But you can only get away with that for one season. The lines were blurred. Now they're drawn in the sand. Shit's about to go down!

Samantha caused every rivalry in the series if you think about it. She crashed and run making turn up the rivalry between Daniel and Johnny. She came to a party holding hands with Robby like WTF and Miguel was her dirty secret, so when he saw her with a another guy it got him mad. And at last she treated Tory like trash since the first moment, calling her a wallet thief and only wanting Miguel because she couldn’t have him. This is just ONE of the reason why she is the worst and everyone hates her.

This is great because we are getting a sense of what would have happened if Johnny the protoge had won back in 1984, he was the future of Cobra Kai and didn't agree with the whole "sweep the leg:" thing. Neither did Johnny's friend after he had done so in the SF. There would have been conflict in Cobra Kai. What's good is there's plenty of material, eg Sato and Chozen effectively taught Miyagi-Do throughout Okinawa, so there's space in future seasons for Chozen to turn up and do to Daniel what Kreese is doing to Johnny. On top of all that there's Mike Barnes turning up and screwing Kreese and Johnny over and wanting his 50% cut (not sure if Kreese actually knew of Barnes deal with Silver in KK3?). Then there's the fact Daniel is rich, but Terry Silver is mega rich and he may take the revenge thing to a whole new level and team up with that Cole fellow to screw his Business, similar to what Daniel is attempting to do with Johnny atm, but in this case Sato Empire can get involved if Daniel and Chozen reconcile
This brings me back to my childhood times. This show got me hooked. I just hope that CZcams finish all the seasons needed and dont leave us hanging. I like Johnny this time!
