@@Andrew_tate935 Yea it’s a real bummer how his character turned out especially in the second half from season 2 onwards to now. Sam was just a spoiled insecure brat in season 1 and in the party of season 2. She really has a thing for ruining party’s huh.

Literally none of the kids' character arc comes even close.
Hawk had like one episode of character arc origins, Robby may be focused on nearly as much as Miguel but his character arc is very inconsistent, Tory is a great character but we've barely seen anything from her background (they just added subtext with no context) et cetera. There's no way any of those characters from the high school batch come close to his character development.

I’ve never hated him. I don’t condone for what he and his friends did to Daniel in the Karate Kid movies but, given his upbringing and with Kreese, I can understand why he turned out the way he did. I’m here after Season 4 and I love Johnny’s character development and with how he and Daniel bond.

The fact that this actually got me to watch cobra kai
I love how Miguel is basically another version of Daniel Larusso. Hes a poor little brown(Italian and Hispanic are similar enough whatever) kid who rides a bike everywhere. His mom is single and he’s dating/dated a rich girl. Idk how the he didn’t see himself in that kid, maybe he was just to disconnected from his own roots. It would be interesting if he finally saw it in the show.

The thing about this show is that it shows that everyone is human, everyone can make mistakes and let their emotions take over, that’s why there is never a character that’s always on the right, a character that was once nice will turn into a douche and someone that was a douche will turn into a really nice person, everyone changes throughout the show and that’s what I love about it, there is no good or bad and that is the case with every single character

I nearly cried when Miguel fell, he beat Robbie for the second time truly showing that he was the best fighter in the school. But instead of making the mistakes cobra Kai did in the past, he showed honour and let him go and he took advantage of that to take him out. Miguel won the fight, he is the better man.

One thing I love about the early seasons of Cobra Kai was how the actors themselves were not experienced fighters, just like how they are in the series. As the actors got better at Karate, so did their characters, and I just find that to be really cool.
