The real mvp was genya who's not a hashira and muichiro who stopped his regeneration for a while with red blade but in the end kokushibou decided to die by himself
Douma is just very hard to kill and he's perfect counter to breathing techniques and his attacks are meant for multiple people so that's why he can kill all of them by himself

Douma's destructive strength surpasses akaza's but his physical strength is less but because of his buddha technique he can destroy akaza
Douma has such hacked blood demon art that he will literally freeze the air so the slayers won't be able to use breathing techniques and he can literally create clones of himself so he'll easily create 1 clone for every hashira and they're done and gyomei and sanemi beating 7 to 8 doumas by themselves is just unthinkable and also demons have unlimited stamina so they can spam their tricks if they're serious but unfortunately we never saw Douma serious

The real fight began when his kimono came off and after that he was beating both of them pretty bad and thanks his own hair and sword which were eaten by genya to catch him otherwise no hashira could do anything to kokushibou without catching him.
his blood demon art would be useless against a flame or sun breather as fire is the natural opposite of ice and would nullify a lot of Doumas attacks. I actually think a tag team of Rengoku and Infinity castle Tanjiro would be enough to take down Douma.
Doma is the best demon character because he is the definition of a demon in both Mythology and Religion, his lack of ability to care and not being able to register it is chilling. Out of all the demons if I was in the manga I wouldn't want to be killed by Doma, hell even Muzan I'd rather meet than Doma, I think another interesting thing about him is that Doma even surpassed Muzan in humanity - Muzan wanted to achieve God-hood, become a superior being - Doma already having no emotions surpasses him in humanity, Even Muzan had anger, fear, pleasure, Doma had none of those, he's just a shell that kills and acts happy because there's nothing else in his existence to do nor does he care - which is why Muzan hated Doma so much, the fact Muzan couldn't even scare Doma irritated him, but Doma being as powerful as he was is to valuable for Muzan to kill.
I agree, his design, character, weapon, Blood Demon Art, and things his character are based on are all amazing. Sure the only down side is his personality and cruelness but other than that, he's an amazing character indeed

Let's say, he's what a demon should actually be. Pure evil, no emotion, no mercy, no kindness, just wicked stuff can be found within him. Unlike the other upper moon, some got emphaty, mercy, heck even a little bit of love in themselves, making them less demonic in the end. The writer of this demon really nailed what the definition of demon with this character.

I know he chose to suicide, but even if he survived that battle it doesn't make him Upper 2 automatically, if an upper moon dies, Muzan is the one who chooses someone to replace him, like with Kaikagu replacing Gyutaro, and Nakime replacing Hantengu.

Honestly, his abilities seem like the strongest blood demon techniques. He can make slightly weaker clowns of himself, which is basically like cell junior lol. He can prevent the demon slayers from getting too close with his ice particles in the air that tear apart lungs. He is incredibly fast and physically strong. He has insane regen. His abilities seem stronger than Kokushibo, yet he is somehow weaker.
@@neverbackdown1918 his abilities are more versatile and is more useful but kokushibos is pure destruction and just spamming moon blades which becomes impossible to dodge. Koku is also much faster, stronger, and smarter physically
@@neverbackdown1918 Douma's bda is refined and more versitile and he can make ur life a living hell he can make clones that are just as strong as him and can freeze the air so u cant use ur forms (unless u use beast breathing) were kokoshibou is faster and physically stronger and his first form is just normal moon breathing but the difference is that the cresent moons actually are there and do damage unlike like all the other breathings styles but once he grows his sword blades grow out of it, the range is increased and they do more damage and i think they allow him to use all 16 forms so i think a serious douma is equal to 65-72% of kokoshibou's power i hope that helped :D
akaza bda is better becauseeee he has like 600 forms, for kicks, punches, and even air type. he only used air type and one other form fighting rengoku, just shows he is OP but douma bda is also very epic. Douma only wins because of higher rank

Yeah,people think Akaza is stronger than Douma but Douma claps in regeneration speed,speed,BDA and every other ability than physical strength. His BDA is very fatal against demon slayers as it makes it very difficult to breath. Douma single-handedly would've probally clapped mitsuri and muichiro if he was serious

And the fact that Shinobu needed to create a plan in order to affirm Douma to lose means that Douma is a very strong and difficult demon to encounter and to defeat.

i love douma’s humor. its dark and mean as fuck, but he just smiles thru it.
It's crazy how powerful he was even though he had relatively low willpower. Imagine what he can do with the same amount willpower as the other uppermoon.
I wouldn’t say he had weak willpower. Demons have the ability to feel pain you know, despite that doma was completely unaffected mentally no matter how he was attacked. Even as he was dying he didn’t really care. Maybe lacking motivation or desire were what you meant. Well I guess it depends on what exactly “willpower” means. If lacking emotions means you have weak willpower then I guess that’s fine, but I don’t think that’s the case. It would be better to say that strong emotions can boost your willpower. I usually look at one’s ability to handle pain and adapt mentally for how much willpower they have. I’d give doma a high rating in that regard, especially since he doesn’t have the boost most characters do

When you are treated as some sort god from your moment of birth and all your life, you lose yourself as a person, people die when they are forgeten, yourself dies when it's forgeten, but for Douma it wasn't just forgeten, it didn't exist, it couldn't exist, cause no one believed in it,( Douma !? a normal child with feelings, Who's that ?), not believing in hell or heaven, and not caring about them, not caring about good and bad, cause... It's just that way

Among all demons,he's the only One ho never did something bad of wrong as human.....he was Just a victim,and his lack of feelings Is not a fault,but a serious,terribile problem....And,as demon,he's not worse than none of the other.Gyokko hates children and torture them and so Hatengu....Akaza Is ruthless,Kokushibo try to kill his own Brother.....Douma gave back Life to Gyutaro and Daki,When noone,Gods or humans,did anything for them not even for a single Moment.....Well,he could be a demon,and do what a demon does...but at least his lack of emotions Is a partial justification,since emotions are the tools that connect a person to his own consciousness...and,sadly,not having such tools,Douma Is able ti know what Is worth and useful or not,but he cannot understand the differenze between good and bad...

I feel like Doma is just that quiet kid that was going along with a prank and only became a demon just to take the prank to the next level.

Imagine, as a kid, you can’t go outside, no love, no affection, no friends or education, nothing. All you see are worshippers who might as well kill themselves if you don’t show them the true path. As a kid, you have the responsibility of hundreds of people who have fled from abusive households. And then his mom kills his dad and his mom kills herself. Douma was deemed as soon as he was born into the cult family

When doma finally felt feelings and realized the world around him physically and spiritually and asked shinobu to go out with him in hell, shinobu just said:
“Piss off you worthless bastard”
Doma is such a great character, my favorite out of the upper moons and probably in Demon Slayer in general. He's chilling in the way he speaks, looks and most importantly, acts. Doma's had centuries to practice faking emotion to the point some of the other demons probably didn't even notice that he was an empty shell. His only flaw is that he plays with his food, he probably could've finished off Inosuke and Kanao at any point in their battle but chose to continue because he was, according to him, having so much fun. Wish we got to see more of him, he has so much personality that went to waste.

I love Doma!He is pure evil, but pure evil is a kind of good.He acted out of pure heart, without any desire. So he's the savior in the eyes of believers. It's just that his view of the world is contrary to that of normal people. What he thinks is good in the normal world can be evil. His eyes were so beautiful and pure. His voice was so demagogic.
