Agreed, this is a classic example of a talented player being more EFFECTIVE with a different set of players that play a different type of style. Ironically, I think he would have fit in well with former Liverpool squads that played a similar style of football.
Charlie was paid for by Belekon, the Latvian Investor that since sued Oyston removing them from our club. Research before making invalid comments maybe? As for Holloway, yes he was brought in by Oyston, but he was one of very few managers that much exceeded his potential having been an utterly shite manager for 90% of the other clubs he’s been a part of. We are still grateful for what he’s done for us, however following comments he made backing Karl Oyston in our rise to the premier league we don’t condone his mindset towards the Oystons. After all, they were just his employers. It’s like throwing shit at people that work for Sports Direct because they need an income despite the poor management of the business
