    Nice comparison! How do you think a upgraded LightBee compares to the two?
    Also do you think its possible to get the UltraBee's breaks on to the lightbee?

      I've been riding an upgraded light bee X the past 4 years, (72V Nucular controller set at 12kw 21/17 with our race spec gear inc seat etc.) It's quicker than the Ultra but is harder to ride fast due to it's shorter wheelbase. I found the longer wheelbase on the Ultra made it more stable at speed and on the steep hills. I prefer the weight of the LBX, seat heights are similar if using our MX seat. Really both are fun. The LBX is better suited to urban riding but the Ultra a bit better for serious off road riding. I found the Ultra doesn't overheat as easy and I was able to ride sections not possible on the light bee. The wheels and brakes are totally different on the Ultra, may be possible adapt the brakes but would be easier to increase the regen on the LBX to take a load of the stock brakes or go larger rotors.

    Hello, I'm from Poland and I'm thinking about buying a surron, my height is 186 cm/6.1 ft and my weight is 75 kg, which one should I choose?

    I'm 6.2 tall do you think the ultra will suit me?

      The Ultra is a little smaller than a full size dirt bike, we have just installed in front 21and 18in rear wheels on it now and is much higher. You would be ok on the Ultra, but would suggest handlebar change to highest possible rise, say 80-90 mm if possible.

    We’re the laps timed?

    • @racespecsurron1220
      @racespecsurron1220  Před rokem +1

      Yes have whole laps for each although traffic varied so not an ideal comparison due to slower riders blocking occasionally. 16:26mins on the Storm for 11km (6.8m) vs 15:44mins for the Ultra same lap length.

    Do a 18 21 wheel swap on the ultra to see the difference

      Will do, wheels arriving soon and have a super meaty Mitas Terraforce 120/90 18 double green gummy tire waiting to go on, should be like a rocket on rails and climb like a mountain goat.

      @@racespecsurron1220 nice one. I’m currently on a modded talaria thinkin bout switching to an ultra early next year when the road rego model is available.

    Ultra better because of weight and upgrade capabilities

      Looking forward to upgrading the Ultra and reviewing, have 21/18 with Gummy tires, larger sprocket and other goodies on the way.
