I approve of the rust prevention but I have to say that in 60 years of riding, much of it in Portland and Anchorage, Alaska, I've never had a problem with internal rust. I can't recall ever seeing a bike with an internal rust in the 10 years I had a bike shop in San Francisco.

Do you feel that the bicycle flexes more than it should during riding due to the break-away system?

So far it rides just like a non-Breakaway Road Logic with slightly more relaxed geometry. Haven't noticed any unwanted flex

I have one about 15 years old and it rides just like a non-breakaway bike. No creaks, no flex.
