Because of seeing this video, I decided to visit Con Dao and stayed at Six Senses Con Dao for my birthday vacation for 3 nights few days ago. It is truly fabulous, the staff, facility, the room, the service, the ocean and the SPA❤️. Thank you for sharing such beautiful review with us.

Perfect locale for relaxing away from hustle bustle of city life. Really looked a dream destination. The blue of the sea and greenery around makes it picture perfect and the ambience of the resort is totally amazing. Quiet and peaceful
I was there last August for 4 days with my family. Best resort you’ll ever go to. If you ever go there, make sure to get a PADI license (diving) first. Diving there is one of the highlights of the island. Also, you should go to watch Giant Turtles breeding (ask your butler, he’ll call the people for you) at night. They’re the last of their kind and almost extinct (~350 left in the world).

Kim Jong-un November to April is best in my opinion. It’s the dry season meaning less clouds and rain (rainfall in the wet season is horrible). I went in August out of convenience (had a lot of free time) but the weather was great anyways, it rained once and the clouds cleared up immediately after. There’s not exactly any cold seasons in the South.
I was in this place last summer and I’ll never forget it. Little bit pity when I can’t enjoy the sea but I have a special day go to the town by bike. Hard but fun.

I live in Saigon so this and this is a short flight from the city. I'm happy for those working in Con Dao that they're opening up the resort (and 3 others) for tourism again. The pandemic has hit people hard...
I am one of those people who find all that plant life to be very soothing. I could feel my blood pressure go down as I watched! And the bay itself is truly jaw droppingly glorious. And hey, all day ice cream!
Sandra Nelson Those bays are a dime-a-dozen in tropical SE Asia...I'd suggest Malaysia or Thailand before Vietnam.
if you wanna promote these countries's tourism, it's not so effective ...i see you keep licking around and trying to bring down vietnam beaches by telling people come to bali , thailand , malaysia and stuff like that. People believe in their eyes not from your mouth, now shut up and enjoy vietnam , thank you .
Six senses has never really appealed to me in the same way as Aman but this resort just looked like paradise! The beach is amazing! I also adore the hats the staff wear!

I love the food shots! I would love to have yummy Asian street food at a nice resort.
I would recommend going into the actual town and staying at one of the local hotels/eating food from the local markets and restaurants. Much more interesting. This island is so unique in that there are almost no foreign tourists outside of the resorts. Almost everyone speaks only Vietnamese. Going and staying at a cushy western resort which is isolated away from the locals would mean missing out on the charm of this place. Also the locals benefit a lot from your business.

As far as the resort, I am captivated by its ability to seamlessly blend into the natural setting. I like how a guest is able to be enjoying the rustic beauty of the beach and other areas, yet is merely moments away from returning to the amenities of home.
Out of curiosity, did you discover any negatives, such as bugs, jungle animals enjoying your villa in the morning, etc.?

One of my friends just talked me into spending a week in NYC this October. Haven't been there in years and years. I would be happy to relax at the Six Senses Con Dao for a week with a few good books and exotic drinks rather than fight the crowds in Manhattan. (Oh, I know I will love being back in New York City, though.)
What a beautiful beach and lovely grounds! A few too many stairs in your villa (for me, anyway), but otherwise can't fault it. Red suitcase looks quite content on its bench, little knowing what's in store after the trip to Vietnam. Cheers, and thanks for another great video.
Well, I wouldn't mind enjoying a week of Indian Summer in NYC! Or perhaps you should postpone your stay untill Six Senses opens its NYC property next year :)

My fave is the Oberoi brand! Their service is what sets them apart. Check in formalities not at reception but in the comfort of ur room!

I was stationed on this island when it was known as Con Son in 1967. I was the only US Army soldier sent to be with 5 British civilians that were maintaining a Decca navagation site (Green South). My stint lasted about 3 months before being reassigned to Saigon. Beleive me the place has changed dramatically according to this video although the beaches were even nicer when I was there.

Really looking forward to it!! Ps... I was at Phan Rang last week. I can understand it if you never want to leave the resort but if you might there is a fairly new coastal road linking Phan Rang with Ca Na to the south being about 50 kilometers in length. Every inch of that road hugs the coast or is within view of the sea and is extremely beautiful with incredibly beautiful rocky outcrops along the way. One more hint if you might have any more time in Saigon... The Hotel Des Arts (Accor Group) is a really nice place being very new with a rooftop super cool pool and a jaw dropping glass bottom bridge linking the neighboring office building. It is a five star hotel which I think you will very much enjoy mixing classic Indochine elegance with modernity... something not easy to do but they did it well!
This place rates as my favorite of all your tours, not sure why, it is not super plush, not spectacular, but feels right. Like a comfortable beautiful place that lingers in our memories of past. Locked down again in Melbourne Australia, these are wonderful escapes. I miss Bohol, I'm caught in Melbourne and can not get back, this place reminds me of Panglao. The perfect sandy white beach, Bohol with its jungle covered hills plunging into the ocean.

This resort is unique in that the motto seems to be luxury in simplicity. The extensive use of bamboo and wooden rafts lend this place a rustic charm.
The native Vietnamese hats nón lá are typical of most South East Asian countries. What struck me about the beach is that it is surrounded by lush green mountains. Gosh magnificent doc. Fell in love with the orange, green and white theme for the decor. The ocean facing rooms are such a draw. The idea of an outdoor shower gazing at the spectacular Nature is so appealing. Must do the Six Senses resort soon.💜👛💄👠😊

I should say not much money comes out of Corporate Profits on The Upkeeps of this place -- all you are paying for is a hut which is a hop skip and a jump from the ocean !!!! Cmon folks Florida has both East and West coasts with equal beauty 😍😍
We were there in November but stayed at Poulo Condor and La Maison. ConDo is wonderful. I'd love to live there one day.
Maybe next time walk to water,and maybe even get in ocean and show veiw of resort from oceans edge,I sure wish I could go there someday it looks gorgeous

Would you ever consider doing a video in Hawaii, Turks and Caicos, Mexico, Fiji, Aruba or Bora Bora? I understand they have amazing beaches and resorts and spas. I would be so happy if you did. My travel experience is not so wide, I traveled in Europe, North America and Caribbean. I have a couple of favorite places. One is the Body Holiday in St. Lucia. They include one massage per person each day for those staying more than 3 nights. I guess the spa is one of the best spas in Caribbean. Also, the food is healthy, they have a lot of sports, yoga, hiking activities. I spent 10 nights there having a massage every day. Pure paradise! In Italy (Tuscany, not so far from Sienna) I stayed in an old farm house (transformed in B&B). It was my favorite. It was very romantic not far from some thermal baths. The house was in a middle of wheat and olives fields. The neighbor house was 3miles away. There are very nice and attractive places in Asia - Pacific and South America, but it would be a huge challenge to flight there.
Video is really nice and the resort is amazing. I have been to the Six Senses in Da Lat and Ninh Vinh Bay. I would suggest you edit a lot of the video to about 5-10 min. Not many can sit for 45 min!

Room rates depend on the season (can be checked on the Six Senses website). Best time for travel is November to April (dry season).

running televison commercials, trying to squeeze every last drop out of their
winter season, by picturing empty beaches and blue waterways, while even in
their off season, which are our hot summer months, an empty beach would still be
