Wait until January to buy a new monitor because we’ll have so many better OLED monitors to choose from included the forbidden fruit, 4K 240Hz glossy QD OLED, but will they actually be available in January, and should you really wait, or is buying now at a much lower price the better choice

The problem for someone in Australia for example is that the price of the OLED screens are still high even for current gen, and I doubt the new monitors will be too much more expensive. There's also the issue that half the products such as some AOC mini LEDs, KTC monitors are all not available here, so we're stuck with the main brands.

Feel kind of strange to buy a monitor for a dozen specific games at best. Competitive gaming fans are just built differently, though, I guess. I'll never be able to comprehend the mindset. Makes some sense when you're playing the same 2/3 or even 1 game for years fanatically and you also care SO MUCH about input lag & pixel response performance. I simultaneously can and cannot see the point at the same time.
