Yes because we ate seeing woman (friends) singnaling open minded virtuosity without thinking about consequences. Ironically, it was all those death threats and rape threats directed AT JK Rowling by all those - "brave," "stunning," "just be kind" - trans-activists - that finally opened my eyes to this madness and which caused me to educate myself on the matter. Ms. Rowling will always have my deepest respect for having the courage to stand up to this barking-mad idiocy.

@@solha4505 It's not so much about being against transgendered persons for me as it is standing up for my womanhood. I am not a feminist by any stretch of the imagination. I do feel though that there are obvious differences that have to be taken into account. If you're a female walking alone at night, do you feel more threatened by a man walking close to you or a woman? Logically, it makes sense to feel more afraid of a man. A man can overpower a woman 9/10. It's not about that person having any intent of harming you as much as it is for you to feel safe. Having experienced what I had and others either did or are trying to prevent from experiencing, it is logical not to feel comfortable for a female to want to share a private space with a man. It's natural for a woman who had worked hard her entire life to reach a goal in sports to be upset at someone who didn't cut it in their own field coming in to steal their accolades. We cannot walk back on progress for woman's rights. It's not intended to be a personal insult to anyone who chooses to live their life as a particular gender, however, facts are facts. If you take a Ferrari engine and put it in a VW Bug, it will still drive like a Ferrari, and vice versa. Look like a Ferrari or a VW if you want (I don't mean you btw), I don't care. Just don't take away someone else's freedom in searching for your own. Celebrities who want to force their political views on those who they are supposed to entertain, should either stick to entertaining or become politicians. You can identify as whatever you want, nature cannot be fooled.

Enjoyment levels from different entertainment is very subjective. You are however in a small minority of people not loving Harry Potter, it's such a small group you had ought to be (and probably are) protected under the Scottish hate speech law. All the trannies hate Harry Potter so much now that they've probably self identified the non Harry Potter lovers group as a protected minority already.
I love all her books. I read HP and the Cormoran Strike series.

A side irony in this is that the actors who played her 2 main villains Valdemort and Malfoy, Ralph Fiennes and Tom Felton, vocally supported JK Rowling.

I have never read any of the Harry Potter books but I admire her success as a writer and her standing up for women everywhere. Plus she received the Andre Norton Award back in 2008, Norton was the biggest name in sci-fi/fantasy literature when I was a kid in the 1960's, she really set the standard for fantasy novels for kids.
I applaud 👏 the work ethic of J K Rowling who should be made woman of the year for her contribution to children’s reading but now standing up to this upside down nonsense we are all suffering through. Love JKR. I can’t stress enough how important it is for women to have spaces exclusively for them. This was understood by our grandparents. For back in those days there were women’s only carriages on trains, waiting rooms on the platform marked for women only, separate women’s wards in hospital and times at the swimming baths that were solely for women. The Victorians and Edwardians knew the value of separating the sexes for the protection of women. How sad and tragic that this form of safeguarding no longer applies.
