    0:43 Intermittent Strumming, Traditional
    1:19 Continual Drone, Traditional
    1:51 Method 2 Brief
    2:46 Advanced Method
An absoLute classic of a piece to play. Take time to learn the melody line first and then decide which style suits you and your dulcimer type. The second method takes more skill but for lute dulcimers with less than 8 frets this is the way I'd play it or if you'd like to forgo using a capo. Plus it's great practice for technique.
    Notes:
    - Tuning: standard tuning of DAD so similar tunings will work such as GDG, CGC, AEA, EBE, etc.
    - Capo the first fret for the traditional play styles
-The lighter numbers in the tablature are the melody line
-The melody repeats for all additional verses and choruses
    - I strum a few extra notes compared to the syllables. Oh well, it'll change from verse to verse anyway
    - In the Advanced Method continue to hold some of the chord strings in place for the entirety of the chord section while playing melody around them for sustained harmony
    - Take your time and enjoy the process of learning. That is the best motivation to keep playing!
